Today the President met with his Cabinet to discuss the budget. Later on he met with the 2004 Nextel Cup Nascar Champion, Kurt Busch, during a visit by Busch and other racing officials to the Oval Office. The President was presented a racing helmet by Mr. Busch during the visit. The President held a Cabinet meeting this Morning. He met with NCAA champions in the East Room of the White House. He met with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi where they discussed the plans for the turnover of governmental control to the Iraqi's, and then attended a Sons of Italy Foundation dinner Gala. The First Lady flew to Oregon where she visited elementary schools in the "No Child Left Behind Program" and then flew to CA to tape the "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno which airs tonight.
