A California sheriff's deputy saved the life of an 11-month-old baby during a Black Lives Matter protest in Palmdale recently. Security footage captured the moment when two women participating in the protest frantically approached deputies seeking help with an infant who had stopped breathing.  According to a Facebook post, the Palmdale Sheriff's Station say the two women were at a protest when the infant "got sick, stopped breathing and lost consciousness. After the crash of a helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant and several other people last year, a bit of a scandal erupted when it was determined that one of the sheriffs responding to the scene had taken photographs of the wreckage and the bodies of the victims. Those photos leaked out into the public over social media, causing distress to the families of some of the victims. SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A California lawmaker said on Wednesday he would introduce a bill this week to ban sales of cloned pets, a move that could end a California company's plans to replicate beloved domestic animals. A ban is necessary because the technology is unregulated and animal shelters are filled to capacity with potential pets, Assembly Member Lloyd Levine said in an interview. "If you were to use animals for experiments, for agriculture, for all sorts of things, there are all sorts of regulations ...
