PARIS (Reuters) - French former film star Brigitte Bardot went on trial on Tuesday for insulting Muslims, the fifth time she has faced the charge of "inciting racial hatred" over her controversial remarks about Islam and its followers. This year (1998), the Mass in the Emperor‘s old cathedral was offered by the Archbishop Of Rheims, the Primate of France. Just as of old the Emperors were crowned at Aachen, so too were the Kings of France crowned at Rheims. Strange to say, this apparently most German of feasts is also the most French.
