Hollywood Democratic heavyweights have thrown their weight behind a campaign to recall the 'woke' district attorney of Los Angeles, with Joe Biden's nominee to be ambassador to Norway and George Clooney's producing partner among those demanding George Gascon step down. Possible new evidence has surfaced in the Manson Family murders and police are poised to hear it for the first time, according to documents obtained by NBC4. In a letter dated March 19, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck requested "eight hours or so" of audio recordings between attorney Bill Boyd and his then-client Charles "Tex" Watson, according to a U.S. bankruptcy filing. Watson, the former right-hand man of Charles Manson, is currently serving a life sentence for his involvement in the 1969 Manson Family murders. Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca said he supports the idea of allowing illegal immigrants to have driver's licenses as long as they have been in the United States for a number of years without committing other crimes. Baca's comments Thursday come as Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck has also expressed support for driver's license for illegal immigrants. Baca said such licenses should only be issued after illegal immigrants fill out comprehensive applications, similar to those for citizenship. The sheriff also said the licenses should be up for renewal annually, and be noticeably different than those issued to citizens....
