  • George Floyd was out of work during coronavirus before he was killed (Saint Floyd)

    05/29/2020 9:34:47 PM PDT · by MNDude · 38 replies
In 2007, Floyd was charged with armed robbery in a home invasion in Houston, in which another man posed as a water department worker in an attempt to gain access to a woman’s residence, according to court documents. When the woman realized he wasn’t actually a water department worker, she tried to close the door. That’s when five other men got out of a car that had just pulled up and forced their way inside. According to charging documents, the largest man in the group, whom the victim identified as Floyd, “forced his way inside the residence, placed a pistol...

A woman was found dead inside a car Friday morning, according to John Elder, Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson. According to Elder, two police chiefs were flagged down while on patrol. They were told that a woman might be dead inside a car by North Bryant and 17th avenues. Once they arrived at the scene, the officers found a car in the middle of the road with a woman inside on the back seat. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. They believe the woman to be in her 30s and stated that they see trauma to the body, said...

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- A woman is in custody after allegedly hitting a pedestrian who was running from a crime scene in Scottsdale. Scottsdale police said the situation started on Sunday at 10:45 p.m. when officers responded to a fight in the nightclub area near Scottsdale and Camelback roads. Witnesses told police a man had assaulted another man and ran from the scene. A short time later, the same suspect was hit by a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Yessenia Garcia, police said. I had a discussion today with a friend in the medical field. He claims some of his associates suspect COVID-19 can be spread by an infected person passing gas. He said if you're wearing a face mask and you can smell the offending odor, there is a good possibility you could become infected by these microscopic invisible gas particles. He said they're trying to develop a mask for your ass, such as some type of special adult diaper that's been treated to absorb gas and can be worn over or under existing clothing.

Burger King is in full-on preparation mode, getting ready for the inevitable day when economies around the world begin to reopen in a post-coronavirus world. One of those preparations include the introduction of massive paper crowns, big enough that it forces customers in the restaurant to stay six feet apart – the new norm experts say is most effective in helping stamp out the further spread of COVID-19. Currently, Burger King is testing the paper crowns in Germany, a country where the chain has approximately 700 locations. According to one Burger King spokesperson, the company is working on coming up...

  • NY’s Cuomo Ripped as a Villain by MSMedia The Guardian

    05/26/2020 11:37:10 AM PDT · by MNDude · 21 replies
A scathing opinion piece has accused Governor Andrew Cuomo of being a villain of the Covid-19 outbreak in New York, not a hero as most media outlets have depicted him. Where it appeared will come as a surprise to many. Cuomo “should be one of the most loathed officials in America right now,” says Wednesday’s opinion piece by Lyta Gold and Nathan Robinson. They proceed to offer a thickly-sourced argument as to why the governor was at fault for New York leading the nation in the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths alike. As one particularly stunning visual example, they...

Am I the only FReeper who has been deluged with email spam from GOP leaders? About a week ago I started getting a dozen or so emails every day from Donald Trump, Eric Trump, Jim Jordan, Lyndsay Graham, et al. At first I thought the GOP operatives had gotten a hold of my email address, but upon checking I see the emails are all spam. Has the deep state launched a spam attack on people for the purpose of irritating them with emails from GOP leadership?

It's no longer news that texting while driving is incredibly dangerous—it's common sense. What's more, filming a high-speed run with one hand on the wheel and the other on your iPhone is on another level of stupidity. That didn't stop this Audi RS6 driver from mashing the accelerator and videoing their drive to 200 miles per hour on a public British roadway, though. And if that wasn't brazen enough, the clip was then uploaded to Twitter for everyone to see. Police are now looking for the daredevil who drove 202 miles per hour on the M23 south of Crawley, as...

Where were you when you learned that drinking cows’ milk is evil? You were in front of the TV watching the 2020 Academy Awards, that’s where. And if you weren’t, you heard about it anyway because it’s the only thing about this year’s Oscars that anybody remembers. The Joker scolded everybody for putting milk in our cereal, and he was totally not kidding. Joaquin Phoenix was also one of the few Oscar winners this year who was in a movie anybody saw, so he should be able to say whatever he wants. I raise a glass of 2% and toast...

  • Michigan: Gretchen Whitmer seeds the nursing homes with COVID-19

In light of the nursing home disaster in New York, what kind of a ghoul would take that as an example to emulate instead of a baleful death warning to avoid, and then order contagious COVID-19 patients into her state's nursing homes? Only Michigan's hard-faced Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, the ambitious Democrat who banned sales of garden seeds to Michiganders, saying she's doing it in the name of keeping everyone 'safe.' 'Safe' to Whitmer is seeding the nursing homes with COVID-19 patients, supposedly as a means of lightening the loads of hospitals. Too bad if granny gets it. Under Whitmer's executive...

Nassau County chiefs want their residents to kick each other’s balls if they must, but don’t you dare go touching them … tennis balls, that is. Hey, no giggling! That was pretty much how it sounded when County Executive Laura Curran gave a rundown on how Nassau was going to navigate reopening tennis courts there, and what the new regulations would be when handling one another’s balls. Again … tennis balls. In fact, you can tell Curran was trying her hardest to get the word “tennis” in there each and every time she mentioned “balls,” but eventually she slipped …...

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - 25 years ago, a jaw-dropping sight rolled through San Diego streets: a tank crushing everything in its path. Stunned residents in a Kearny Mesa neigborhood described a 'rumbling, grinding noise' as the M60 tank carved a path of destruction. 10news photojournalist Rett Lawrence was at dinner with co-workers when he got the page. "You've never seen so many guys run out to the door so fast," said Lawrence. As a police helicopter flew overhead, the 60-ton tank ripped through cars, signs, traffic lights, hydrants and whatever was in its path. In one sequence, the tank destroyed...

A note to conservatives: Lilly Wachowski probably will not like it when you quote “The Matrix.” On Sunday, Tesla founder Elon Musk tweeted that people should “take the red pill,” advice that Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka retweeted with the enthusiastic comment “Taken!” Back in 1999, the red pill was a pivotal moment in “The Matrix,” as Neo is offered the choice to either take a blue pill and forget about the Matrix or to take the red pill and be revealed the truth about how the Matrix has been used by machines to enslave the entire human race. Musk’s comment...

Geno Silva, the character actor perhaps best known for playing The Skull, the hitman who takes out Al Pacino's Tony Montana in the explosive climax of Scarface, has died. He was 72. Silva died May 9 at his home in Los Angeles of complications from frontotemporal degeneration, a form of dementia, his family announced. During his four-decade career, Silva also could be seen in Luis Valdez's Zoot Suit (1981) — he was in the 1979 Broadway production opposite Edward James Olmos — Robert Towne's Tequila Sunrise (1988); Steven Spielberg's Amistad and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, both released in 1997;...
