Bills advancing in multiple states could see 'thousands' of America's favorite candies, snacks and sodas banned in their current form. Last October California approved a historic 'Skittles ban' that outlawed four food additives linked to cancer and fertility issues. Now, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois have advanced similar measures, targeting a total of 13 additives that are already banned in some European countries over alleged health risks. New Jersey and Missouri are also considering the bans. If passed, they would force companies to change their recipes or face legal action. And experts say the moves could change the look, taste...

For the last decade, Richard Montañez has been telling the story of how he invented Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The world has been eating it up. It goes like this: He was working as a janitor at Frito-Lay’s Rancho Cucamonga plant when he dreamed up a chile-covered Cheeto and believed in himself enough to call up the chief executive to pitch his spicy idea. Corporate backstabbers tried to sabotage Montañez for stepping out of line, but he out-hustled them, driven by a hunger to succeed. Flamin’ Hots became a runaway hit, and Montañez rose through the ranks and became an icon....

A KFC spokesperson described the sandwich as a "blast of craveable Cheetos in every bite."

This isn’t the first time Hot Cheetos have made headlines over health concerns. Stomach irritation from too many of the tasty snacks are a surprisingly common problem, according to WebMD. In July, a mother in Memphis blamed the chips for her daughter’s gallbladder surgery. The teen regularly ate bags of Hot Cheetos and Takis before severe stomach pains landed her in the hospital. Frito-Lay released a statement earlier this year saying: "At Frito-Lay, food safety is always our number one priority, and our snacks meet all applicable food safety regulations as well as our rigorous quality standards. Some consumers may...

American conservative political commentator Glenn Beck is staging a nationwide intervention. That alone should give people reason to fear for the the state of our nation. But seriously, the guy who has spent plenty of time on TV crying and stirring up scandal and conspiracy theories on his radio show, thinks the country is addicted to rage, which just so happens to be the name of his new book. Beck seems to have some self-awareness that he has contributed to the problem. “After learning the hard way about the importance of thinking before speaking, Glenn invites audiences to have intimate...

Former “Celebrity Apprentice” star Penn Jillette had the perfect opportunity to smear President Donald Trump in a recent Vulture interview titled, “In Conversation: Penn Jillette Talking magic, truth, and Trump’s alleged Apprentice Tapes.” As the name implies, the interview was, by and large, a probe for damaging information about Donald Trump, namely Omarosa Manigault-Newman’s claim that there is a tape of him using the N-word on “Celebrity Apprentice.” As Glenn noted on Wednesday’s episode of “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” Jillette is no fan of Trump. And yet, after saying he was “in the room” and had overheard Trump saying...

Former Fox News hosts and conservative commentators Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck offered praise for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after she knocked off Democratic Rep. Joseph Crowley (N.Y.) in a primary earlier this week. "I have heard some Republicans deride Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and I think that’s a mistake," O'Reilly tweeted this week. "She won by outworking long time Democratic Congressman Joseph Crowley and seems to care more about people than power. A good thing for any politician." O'Reilly, who was fired from Fox News in 2017 after sexual harassment complaints against him were reported, complimented Ocasio-Cortez's voter outreach but made clear he...

Glenn Beck’s struggling media project the Blaze will be conducting mass layoffs in a bid to “keep pace with the massive changes” in the media industry. “Today, we said goodbye to just over 20 percent of the combined workforce of Mercury Radio Arts and the Blaze,” Beck said in a statement Thursday regarding his television and internet operation. “We are losing a lot of talented and committed colleagues, who are some of the best human beings I know  —  some have been friends of mine for 30 years.”

Beck said, “Sincerely, has she had a brain aneurysm? Because I don’t know what has happened to her.”Discussing her “crazy” endorsement of President-elect Donald Trump, in a high pitched mocking voice Beck impersonated Palin saying, “I love him. He’s great and I can see him from my kitchen window.”

Glenn Beck spoke with CNN’s Anderson Cooper tonight about President Trump changing his position on issues like NATO and China this week. Beck––who also weighed in on the behind-the-scenes drama regarding Steve Bannon––said that for a lot of people, Trump was their “last hope” because of how different he was from so many other politicians. And he wondered how all those people feel today. Cooper said that it looks like Trump is now embracing positions that he successfully ran and won against. “The president,” he added, “is on the verge of beginning to look like another Republican who said stuff,...

Tomi Lahren has filed a lawsuit against Glenn Beck and his online platform, TheBlaze, alleging wrongful termination. The conservative talk show host claims she was ousted from her program after she said she was in favor of abortion rights while appearing on ABC's "The View" on March 17. "I can't sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies," she said on the talk show. In the 27-page lawsuit filed Friday in Dallas, Lahren's attorney said nothing in his client's employment contract prohibited Lahren's...

Glenn Beck is a changed man, and for that he credits the Obamas. The political commentator who rose to prominence as a conservative firebrand scrawling conspiratorial arguments across a chalkboard on Fox News now says President Obama made him a “better man” and that he was moved by first lady Michelle Obama’s remarks while campaigning for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. In a short but revealing profile titled “Glenn Beck Tries Out Decency,” published on the New Yorker’s website Monday, Beck made several revelations about his recent worldview that came as a shock to supporters and critics. He said he...

Glenn Beck, who once opined that marriage equality would lead to social destruction, has changed his mind on LGBT equality. Riaz Patel, his new gay BFF, insists the transformation is sincere. The unlikely metamorphosis of Glenn Beck from nutty right-wing conspiracy-monger to rational-seeming defender of American democracy—and opponent of all things Donald Trump—has crossed over into a new frontier. The 53-year-old multimedia firebrand and self-described “catastrophist”—who shocked and possibly alienated his dwindling fan-base three months ago by forming an anti-Trump alliance with lefty satirist Samantha Bee—is these days spending quality time with a Pakistani-born, politically liberal, gay, Muslim television producer.

In 1988, at the swearing-in ceremony for Anthony M. Kennedy, now a senior Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, President Ronald Reagan said this: The role assigned to judges in our system was to interpret the Constitution and lesser laws, not to make them. It was to protect the integrity of the Constitution, not to add to it or subtract from it — certainly not to rewrite it. In his usual manner, Ronald Reagan said it well and succinctly. The role of the Supreme Court is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States...

The Blaze founder Glenn Beck took to his Facebook page last Saturday to urge his followers to abandon support of Republican nominee Donald Trump, declaring that if such an action results in the election of Hillary Clinton, “so be it” because “[a]t least it is a moral, ethical choice.” Beck’s latest missive was in response to the release of an 11-year-old hot-mic tape of Trump saying lewd things about women.
