Former President Trump went after Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) for vetoing a proposed ban on gender-affirming health care for transgender minors Saturday. “DeWine has fallen to the Radical Left,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “No wonder he gets loudly booed in Ohio every time I introduce him at Rallies, but I won’t be introducing him any more. I’m finished with this ‘stiff.’ What was he thinking. The bill would have stopped child mutilation, and prevented men from playing in women’s sports. Legislature will hopefully overturn. Do it FAST!!!” The bill, House Bill 68, also had the aim...

An Idaho law passed this year that bans gender-affirming care for minors will not go into effect on Jan. 1, as planned. A federal judge on Tuesday granted a preliminary injunction on the lawsuit against the ban. House Bill 71, "The Vulnerable Child Protective Act" was signed into Idaho law in April. It outlaws gender-affirming care for transgender minors; including puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries. The law finds any doctor that provides gender-transition care guilty of a felony, punishable by up to 10 years of prison time. After the law was signed, a lawsuit was filed against the state on...

Washington State Catholic Conference Signals “No Position” on Referendum to Overturn Bill Supporting Minors Seeking Abortions and “Gender Affirming Care” Without Parental ConsentThe Washington State Catholic Conference (WSCC) has issued a “no position” position on a referendum to overturn SB 5599 in Washington State. The bill allows the state to harbor runaways, without telling parents where their child is, if the child is seeking an abortion or “gender-affirming care.”SB 5599:Provides that a licensed shelter for runaway or homeless youth does not need to contact the youth’s parents if there is a compelling reason not to, which includes a youth seeking...

The City of Fort Worth says it was targeted by a group of hackers because of the state's stance on gender-affirming care. City officials say the hackers stole information from a website used to track city work orders, but no sensitive information has been released. On Friday, June 23 the City's Information Technology Solutions Department was told about a post that said the City's website had been hacked. Staff found that data posted online came from an internal information system used to track work orders, not the City's public website. "The City of Fort Worth has confirmed that the posted...

'We were wrong’: Transgender clinic founder regrets her role in the mutilation of children The puberty blockers are 'not as reversible as we always thought, and they have longer term effects on kids’ growth and development, including making them sterile and quite a number of things affecting their bone growth.' (LifeSiteNews) — A gender clinic founder and former professor at the University of Toronto recently said that she regrets helping kids “transition,” and acknowledges that most gender-confused kids will grow out of their dysphoria by adulthood. Dr. Susan Bradley “came out against the popular model of affirming children’s transgender identities...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Tuesday responded after President Biden criticized Florida for making efforts to protect children from transgender surgeries and so-called “gender-affirming” treatments. “It is not ‘sinful’ to prohibit the mutilation of minors,” DeSantis said in response to Biden, who lamented the state of affairs in Florida during an interview on The Daily Show. “What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, close to sinful. It’s just terrible what they’re doing,” Biden told Kal Penn. “It’s not like a kid wakes up one morning and says, ‘You know, I decided I wanted to become...

Rachel Levine, who is now assistant secretary for health in the Biden administration, discussed the potential revenue that could be generated by a gender clinic social worker who could advocate for child sex change procedures in emails, reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation, with a pediatrician. Dr. Rollyn Ornstein, a pediatrician at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, believed a social worker for the hospital’s gender clinic would generate enough revenue to make funding the position worthwhile, noting that even with age restrictions for sex change surgeries, child patients would eventually turn 18 and be eligible for further interventions, according...

Twitchy favorite Heather B has been known to drop some pretty savage tweets and threads in her time (they don’t call her the dips**t whisperer for nothin’), and this one on protecting children from life/body-altering decisions pushed by the trans movement is no exception. She always seems to find a way to put exactly what you’re thinking into words … and most of them are pretty damn vicious. But effective. Take a look: Me: Maybe we should discuss what studies done in Finland, Sweden, and the UK have found about giving blockers and other drugs to children and teens? Them:...

More than half of trans women who have 'bottom' surgery are in so much pain years later they need medical attention, a study suggests. Up to a third of patients also struggled to use the toilet or suffered sexual issues 12 months after the operation, which sees patients transitioning from male to female given a surgically constructed vagina.

January 11, 2023 The Dutch Studies and The Myth of Reliable Research in Pediatric Gender Medicine A new study identifying flaws in gender medicine research demands urgent attention from the medical community Twitter A new open-access publication, “The Myth of Reliable Research in Pediatric Gender Medicine,” focuses on the two Dutch studies that gave rise to “gender-affirmative” care for youth worldwide. The authors convincingly demonstrate that rather than "solid prospective research" or even the “gold standard” in research, as these studies are frequently described by the proponents of "gender-affirmative care," the Dutch research suffers from profound, previously unrecognized problems. These...

Earlier this year, Robert “Rachel” Levine, Joe Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health, claimed without evidence that there is consensus in the medical community that so-called “gender-affirming care” is good for kids.“There is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. — about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care,” he claimed. But a new study has found that Levine’s claim is not supported by data. In fact, there is no medical science to support his claim whatsoever. The study, which was conducted by the nonprofit organization Sex Matters in the United Kingdom,...

AP: Human rights groups decry painful gender-affirmation surgery as ‘torture’ Posted at 4:38 pm on November 15, 2022 by Brett T. Here’s a little bit of a puzzler. The AP is reporting that even in places in the United States, transgender people must undergo “painful, complex surgeries that often render them sterile” before the government will legally recognize their gender. This is the first time we’ve heard from the mainstream media that gender-affirming surgeries are painful and leave you sterile — the Biden administration is 100 percent...

Unleash the Trial Lawyers to End Mutilation of Gender-Dysphoric ChildrenMany in the medical and political establishments are pushing “gender-affirming care” as the only humane means of treating children who believe they are not the sex they were born. This so-called care includes radical interventions such as puberty blocking, mastectomies, facial surgeries, and even genital removal. One recent study found that the median age for mastectomies in such cases is 16 — meaning that half of the girls whose breasts were cut off were under that age, and indeed, some were as young as twelve. How do you stop such a destructive...

A top doctor at a gender clinic in Philadelphia has come under fire for claiming age is just 'a number' — in defense of performing sex change surgery on minors. In a video from 2020, Dr Nadia Dowshen, co-director of the Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic, suggested a child's maturity was 'more important' than exact age. She admitted doctors at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia performed 'top surgery' on patients as young as 14, which involves removing or implanting breasts.

(JTA) — Shira Berkowitz was building a career in Jewish camping when a camp told them not to return. “It got around that I was that was queer, and that that wasn’t appropriate for me to be a program director for girls,” Berkowitz said. “And that was really harmful to my identity. I went back in the closet for a few years.” Berkowitz’s career and personal identity recovered, and they went on to work at Camp Sabra, Missouri’s biggest Jewish overnight camp, which they described as far more accepting. “But I was also very aware that there was almost no...

Protecting people from murder, assault, battery, and mutilation by criminals and predators is the first and most basic government function. A state that cannot do this has no moral legitimacy to do anything else.To explain his veto of a bill that would have protected children from transgender genital mutilation, Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson claimed it would be “a vast government overreach.”Using language similar to North Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s in vetoing a bill to protect girls’ sports from unfair and irrational transgender male competition, Hutchinson further claimed:I don’t shy away from the battle when it is necessary and defensible. But...
