SOUTH FLORIDA — A South Florida Realtor recently lost his drone after an alligator ate it. Rob Rosetto with Rosetto Realty Group in Boca Raton shared a short video of the hungry gator jumping out of the water to snatch the drone mid-air on social media. (Watch the video below.) “Well, there goes my drone,” he wrote in a Sept. 24 Instagram post. “Damn alligator actually just ate it!” In the video, a group watching the gator erupts into laughter and cheers when it chomps down on the drone. An accused burglar is dead after Brevard County deputies said he hid in a pond while on the run and was killed by an 11-foot-long alligator. Matthew Riggins, 22, of Palm Bay was reported missing Nov. 13. His body was found 10 days later floating in a pond near Latan Court and Barefoot Circle, in Barefoot Bay. OKALOOSA ISLAND — A local family remains upset four days after giving their pet turtle to the Gulfarium and watching it get eaten by an alligator. Brenda Guthrie and her 8-year-old son Colton witnessed Tomalina’s death as the red-eared slider disappeared into the alligator’s jaws. The McRib is back. This morning, McDonald's announced via its official Twitter account that its storied pork sandwich would return to locations nationwide in a few weeks. "Turns out we're not good at keeping secrets. The rumors are true. McRib returns Nov. 2 for a limited time," the post read. A Central Florida high school student bit off a large portion of a classmate's ear during a fight, according to police. Orange County deputies said Jonathan Robles got into a fight with a 17-year-old classmate and bit his ear off in the parking lot of Timbercreek High School.
