US national cycling champion Gwen Inglis was struck and killed by a car on Sunday while training near her Denver home, authorities said. She was 47. Following the start of its second racing league season last month, Zwift has announced six-month bans against two of its top riders. Participants must submit two sources of data when taking part in competitive races. In the case of those banned, the data didn’t match up. A group of cyclists were riding and had a Subaru hatchback "safety car" assigned to trail them when they were hit about 9:30 a.m. on southbound U.S. Highway 95 near Mile Marker 36, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Travis Smaka. A manufacturer of specialty apparel for cyclists this week announced plans to relocate from northern California to western North Carolina and establish a new manufacturing and distribution facility.
