A $40 million yacht owned by Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was reportedly untied from the dock at a northern Ohio marina and set adrift. The captain of the 163-foot yacht, named "Seaquest," called the Huron Police Department early Sunday morning when the crew realized the boat was floating in the Huron Boat Basin, The Toledo Blade reported. The yacht hit a dock, causing between $5,000 and $10,000 in damage, the newspaper added, citing a police report. Inequity is a problem minorities in Detroit face on several fronts, attendees of the Michigan Roundtable Equity Action Summit Saturday at Detroit's Cobo Center said. The all-day event involved the sharing of stories from people who said they are victims of the unfair systems that punish blacks and other minorities related to public transportation, housing and the criminal justice system. Next year's U.S. Senate race is looking like it could be a rematch between longtime Democratic incumbent Carl Levin and Republican Andrew "Rocky" Raczkowski. Raczkowski spoke briefly Saturday at a Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference luncheon, the usual biennial kickoff for the following year's elections. He didn't commit while he was on the island to running, but says he has set up an exploratory committee and is considering challenging Levin a second time. Another Republican, state Rep.
