<p>Somewhere in a parallel universe, where we are the same people but things have happened in slightly differently ways, Rush Limbaugh greets his loyal listeners this morning.</p>
<p>"Lots to talk about today. You all know already that Bill Clinton, our former president, has admitted an addiction to prescription drugs.</p>
-
If the 2004 presidential election was held today, would you vote for George W. Bush, the Republican incumbent, or the Democratic nominee?
-
Rush is ripping the Democrats a new one and talking about the DUmmies

So you think you accomplished something by stealing another election and putting that dummy goon "Ahhnuld" in as Governor. Well he's an idiot just like that other installed resident George (imbecile) W. Bush. The reason California's economy is so bad is the fault of the white house resident and his moronic economic policies. Also, his Enron buddies screwed California with the energy contracts. So after Ahhnie screws California royally and the nation sees what corrupt fools W and the repuggies are, the Democrats will take control of the nation again for 40 years. Hasta La Vista baybee

The United States administers a global empire. This used to be a secret. Through the 1990s, our government told us that we stood for democracy, freedom, and independence of nations worldwide (lying to us). But the majority of U.S. citizens refused to critically examine their government out of patriotism. Sheeplike, we acted in defiance of the founding fathers of our nation who distrusted the power of government, who realized that small acts of terrorism (which existed then as now) were nothing compared to the potential for tyranny from those who wield governmental powers. From the late 1940s to the 1990s,...

Obituary backs 'removal of Bush' Woman 'thought he was a liar' By Lee Sensenbrenner August 21, 2003 When Sally Baron's family wrote her obituary, they described a northern Wisconsin woman who raised six children and took care of her husband after he was crushed in a mining accident. She had moved to Stoughton seven years ago to be closer to her children and was 71 when she died Monday after struggling to recuperate from heart surgery. Her family had come to the question of what might be a fitting tribute to her. "My uncle asked if there was a cause,"...

(Flushing-WABC, August 12, 2003) — Today, MTA crews have a dirty job ahead of them. They will be searching for the source of some raw sewage which has created a smelly mess on the tracks of the seven subway train in Flushing. If you're taking the seven train at the Main Street Station in Flushing, you better hold your breath!! Straphanger: "You can smell it. It is really strong." No one knows exactly what it is but local officials have a pretty good idea. Queen's City Council Member John Liu can sum it up. John Liu, Queens City Council Member:...

If you think Bush brought honor and dignity to the White House simply because he is not getting BJs from interns... then you just might be a Bushbot If you think Bush was upfront, forthcoming and totally honest about his reasons for invading Iraq.... then you just might be a Bushbot If you think it is just a liberal myth that Bush is controlled by big business interests... then you just might be a Bushbot If you think Bush's positions on education, assault weapons, prescription drugs, etc. are just games he has to play and are really good for conservatism...

There was something wonderfully strained about how various media organisations dealt last week with the news of the deaths of Qusay and Uday Hussein. From the BBC to Reuters, there was palpable — if sternly repressed — dismay. One of the first headlines that the Ba’athist Broadcasting Corporation put out on the news was: “US celebrates ‘good’ Iraq news”. The quotation marks around “good” did not refer to any quote or source in the text. They were pure editorialising on behalf of the BBC, whose campaign to undermine the liberation of Iraq is now in full swing. It was not...

I just noticed that Ann Coulter is scheduled to speak at The 25th Annual National Conservative Student Conference. Is Coulter the type of person who should be speaking at a high profile even? Coulter once said that her "only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building". She has never apologized for that comment. In fact, to this day, she stands by it. I think this comment clearly shows that she is a sympathizer of right wing terrorism. That begs the question... why was she invited to speak at a high profile republican...

According to contemporary political lore, the Bush clan exalts loyalty above every other virtue. Other politicians envy that inviolable code, whose power is reflected in the absence of leaks from the White House, in the lockstep obedience of politicians in Congress and around the country, and in the enormous cash donations from hundreds of wealthy "friends." This is how dynasties are built to endure. But at the highest level, in the inner councils, such feudal allegiances often require awful sacrifice and compromise. For those who now work for George W. Bush, loyalty means surrendering professional integrity and accepting public humiliation....

The plain facts are shocking. Nine thousand families are currently homeless in New York City, the highest number on record. Indeed, homelessness is rising across the country as jobs vanish, incomes shrink and families are forced onto the streets. Meanwhile, George W. Bush is spending the astounding sum of $4 billion a month in taxpayers’ money to keep 146,000 U.S. troops in Iraq—troops who are being murdered on a daily basis, with over 70 dead American soldiers since the war ended on May 1 and no foreseeable improvement. This confusion of priorities is an embarrassment to this country and Mr....

Q One question for you both. Do you believe that there is a link between Saddam Hussein, a direct link, and the men who attacked on September the 11th? THE PRESIDENT: I can't make that claim. http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/01/20030131-23.html

I am happy to announce the WMD’s have been located. For months, we have been told WMD’s are out there. Because of WMD’s, our troops are still suffering casualties daily in Iraq. According to George Bush, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, and Condeleeza Rice, WMD’s pose a great threat to the world. Imagine how surprising it is to learn the WMD’s have been prolifterating right here in the good old U.S. of A. Such weapons include psychological, political, and propagandizing devices. Those who launch the attacks know thousands could become more hopeless and apathetic, but their fundamental motive is...

Norway is home to some of Europe's dirtiest people, according to a survey. The study found seven per cent of people in Norway changed their underwear only once a week. The survey, conducted by AC Nielsen for Norwegian underwear maker Dovre, asked 1,000 Norwegians between the ages of 20 and 60 how often their changed their underwear. Some people admitted to changing them even less often than once a week. More than a third said they wore the same underwear for two days or more, Aftenposten reported. People between 41 and 50 were the least likely to change their underwear...

The University of Haifa and the Italian Trento Center for Scientific and Technological Research (IRST) signed a $1.5 million three-year agreement on Thursday to cooperate on software and artificial intelligence research.
