As Rep. Alan Grayson’s Senate campaign began falling apart over allegations he beat his ex-wife, he blasted out a new robocall touting a Grayson for U.S. House campaign. Grayson, however, wasn’t dropping out of the Senate race and running for reelection. Instead, he was phoning Wednesday on behalf of his new wife, Dena Minning Grayson. She married him during the election season on Memorial Day weekend, when she was running as Dena Minning. She promptly changed her last name and began campaigning as his ideological and familial heir in a district where she didn’t live and was once a complete...

The surgery was Monday; the trial had been scheduled for Thursday in Orlando and has now been rescheduled for March. A Florida congressman has accused his wife of 24 years of being wed to another man for much of the duration of their marriage. Rep. Alan Grayson, a Florida Democrat, alleged in divorce papers that his union with his wife, Lolita, was a “bigamous marriage” because she was already married when he wed her in 1990. In the petition, Grayson accuses his wife of having filed a false application for their marriage license 24 years ago, when she lied about not being divorced from the other man at the time of their marriage.

The behind-the-scenes turbulence of U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson's family life continued to spill into public view Wednesday as his attorneys worked to combat his wife's recently revealed domestic-violence allegations. The congressman's lawyers revealed video of the domestic incident that played out at the Grayson home Saturday, which they said proved that Lolita Grayson committed an attack, not her husband. "He was hoping that this matter would stay in the courts and outside of the press, but since horrendous accusations have been made against him ... he believes that the truth must come out," Grayson's attorney Mark NeJame told reporters during...

Not that the timing makes it any more egregious, but six days after being named the 17th richest member of Congress, it’s being reported that U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson‘s estranged wife has been issued an EBT card to help feed his children. Lolita Grayson was approved for public assistance by the state of Florida, and their four minor children — they have five children altogether — are also enrolled in the free lunch program in Orange County schools, according to ABC affiliate WFTV.
Florida Lawyer-Congressman Alan Grayson is the absolute darling of the Obama book-licking New Far-Left. He is the one who made a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives in which he claimed the Republican health care plan was for Seniors to “die quickly.” Grayson publically called a female DC lobbyist a “K Street whore.” Grayson told national TV viewers that former Vice President Dick Cheney has “blood dripping from his teeth” and that Rush Limbaugh is an “insane drug addict.”

How eager are you to vote? Would you ever strip down to your birthday suit, then crawl over hot coals to cast your vote? Well, Florida Rep. Alan Grayson says Democrats are so eager to vote for him, that’s what they’d do to help him win the U.S. Senate race he joined on Thursday. Grayson insists he’d win because people love him so much — even though he hasn’t received any support from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. The committee’s preferred choice is Florida Rep. Patrick Murphy. “Frankly, one reason why Democrats are willing to crawl over hot coals naked...

I have called Alan Grayson many things since he first got pummeled by Neal Cavuto last April, and all of them well deserved, as the freshman congressman has shown himself to be rude and mean. As a member of the Federal Government the Florida Congressman is as useful as a screen door on a submarine. This Congressional embarrassment lives by the motto, If you can't say anything divisive, don't say it. But now things have deteriorated, I truly believe that the cheese is sliding off his cracker and he totally losing it. He is beginning to act like Humphrey Bogart...

Nigeria's government is asking cinemas to stop showing a science fiction film, District Nine, that it says denigrates the country's image. Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp’s Malthusian fable of post-Apartheid Johannesburg: District 9, a violent science fiction movie set in a Johannesburg slum inhabited by 1.8 million feckless refugee space aliens, is the critical and commercial ($37 million opening weekend) hit of the moment. Yet, few Americans (except the black critic Armond White, who has made himself wildly unpopular with fanboys of District 9 by pointing out the film’s strikingly caustic portrayal of black Africans) seem to grasp writer-director Neill Blomkamp’s subversive perspective, even though the exiled Afrikaner keeps giving interviews more or less spelling it out. The American press constantly...
