Former President Barack Obama’s cybersecurity czar confirmed Wednesday that former national security adviser Susan Rice told him to “stand down” in response to Russian cyber attacks during the 2016 presidential campaign. Michael Daniel, whose official title was “cybersecurity coordinator,” confirmed the stand-down order during a Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing held to review the Obama and President Donald Trump’s administrations’ policy response to Russian election interference. After two major, allegedly, cyber attacks targeted a little known internet infrastructure company, Dyn, earlier today disrupting access to dozens of websites on Friday, and preventing some users from accessing PayPal, Twitter and Spotify, moments ago the DNS service provider said that a third attack has been launched. A thread yesterday talked about how the jihadis were going to attack websites of those who stood in the way of jihad. FR was mentioned. This morning, I'm starting to get a lot of "502" errors here. If I find the link from yesterday I'll post it below. Anyone else having this problem?
