  • Why can Argentina count 25–30 million paper ballots in hours, while blue US swing states take DAYS with machines?

It’s quite astonishing that the United States of America, one of the most powerful nations in the world, struggles to hold streamlined elections. We’ve gone from having election results on the same night or in the early hours to prolonged counts of sketchy ballots behind closed doors, with the winner remaining unknown for days on end. And these types of rinky-dink elections with long “third world” delays are being normalized, but it’s far from normal, and we all know it. This unacceptable stark contrast was glaringly obvious during the recent presidential election in Argentina, where they efficiently tallied 25 to...

The fake quotes, bad as they were, are just one of many ways the media have done a horrible job of covering election disputes in the state. The Washington Post was busted for publishing fabricated quotes from an anonymous source, attributing them to a sitting president, and using those quotes as a basis to speculate the president committed a crime. The invented Donald Trump quotes, which related to a fight over election integrity in Georgia, were cited in Democrats’ impeachment brief and during the Senate impeachment trial. But the fake quotes, bad as they were, are just one of many ways the...

With 13 days left in President Trump's term, confidants and Republican officials are considering drastic steps to stop him, Jonathan Swan and Margaret Talev report. The big picture: These measures include censure, impeachment or invoking the 25th Amendment — a move, long dismissed as a liberal fantasy, in which Vice President Pence would step in if Trump were found to be unable to perform his duties. This talk is coming from current and former White House and GOP Hill aides, and Republican lobbyists and political consultants — all of whom have either embraced him or quietly tolerated him until now....

As we bid farewell to 2020, a year overloaded with the ridiculous and the outrageous, full of comfortable lies and unacceptable truths, I find myself pondering death. Not so much the death of 350,000 who, we are told, succumbed to a plague unleashed from China, but the otherwise unheralded death of our dear Uncle Sam. Admittedly, the patient had been declining for some time. Since the 1960s, the elderly gentleman had ceased making the really hard decisions in his deliberative centers. In the early stages of his dementia, he devolved all of the truly difficult, unpopular, and detrimental decisions onto...

When Sidney Powell spoke to conservative radio host Howie Carr on Nov. 20, she included Serbia among four countries she accused of interfering with the Nov. 3 Presidential election. Four days earlier, a former member of Serbia's parliament published stunning evidence to support Powell's assertion. Srjdan Nogo not only showed how Serbia manipulated vote totals. He exposed the connections between the highest officials in the Serbian government, Serbian leaders in technology and telecommunications, George Soros, former Vice President Joe Biden, the CIA and other government agencies in the United States. Among the figures Nogo mentions in his articles for the...

Sidney Powell, who left the Trump campaign legal team to pursue other avenues of massive electoral fraud she uncovered shortly after the November elections, continues to reveal stunning information garnered from her continued investigative work proving beyond any doubt that Americans have lost control over the only real power we had left as individuals: The power of choice at the ballot box. In previous weeks, Powell revealed that software used by voting machine companies in the U.S. and abroad was developed and financed by some of our enemies, including Venezuela, Iran and China. But in an interview with TBN’s Mike...

There is already evidence that voter fraud is being perpetrated in critical battleground states like Virginia and Colorado a month before Election Day. Voter fraud is commonplace. Completely eliminating it is impossible. The most policymakers can do is create laws and policies that attempt to minimize it. Voter fraud is unlawful interference with the electoral process in an effort to bring about a desired result. Voter fraud is also called vote fraud, election fraud, and electoral fraud. It refers to fraudulent voting, impersonation, intimidation, perjury, voter registration fraud, forgery, counterfeiting, bribery, destroying already cast ballots, and a multitude of crimes...

Labour’s former council leader in Thanet, Iris Johnston, has been caught on camera allegedly ‘helping’ a member of the public to cast their ballot during last Thursday’s election. The votes for Thanet District Council took place on the same day as the General Election, when UKIP leader Nigel Farage was attempting to be elected as the Member of Parliament for South Thanet. ... Johnston’s proximity to the voter may well qualify as compromising the secrecy of the ballot, something that worried the Conservative Party’s Paul Messenger, who took the photo. He told the BBC, “It concerned me that Iris was...

Elections: The National Council of La Raza is promoting no-identification voting states to its followers. Might that have something to do with its advocacy of illegal immigration and the Democrats' flagging electoral fortunes? La Raza, as it's known, is no ordinary nongovernmental organization in the "anti-poverty" racket. A group of lawyers and activists, it has long functioned as the illegal alien lobby in the U.S., advocating aggressively for the cause of open borders. For its latest stunt, it has published on its website and social media a list of voting stations that don't require IDs. Interesting, given a recent Harvard...
  • Can the Voting Machines Used in American Elections Be Trusted?

    04/05/2011 11:59:30 AM PDT · by pinochet · 52 replies
I recently heard someone mention that it is possible for computer hackers to get access to the electronic voting machines, and tamper with the results. The only voting process that I trust, is one that involves a paper ballot, with the voter making a "X" mark on his paper ballot with a pen/pencil. That is how American democracy worked for 200 years. With paper ballots, you can count actual paper votes, during recounts. But under the electronic voting system, you cannot have credible recounts, because it is so easy to hack into the computer system.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand's prime minister was ousted Tuesday after weeks of protests closed the capital's airports, stranding 300,000 travelers. Protesters promised to lift their siege, and international flights were expected to resume Friday. The government of Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat was doomed when the nation's Constitutional Court dissolved Thailand's top three ruling parties for electoral fraud in the 2007 vote that brought them to power. Somchai was banned from politics for five years.

"Ballot-bag problems may slow counting of 8th District votes" ?King County Elections staff said about 100 bags -- containing up to 20,000 absentee ballots that had been dropped off at polling sites on Election Day -- remain uncounted because of an array of problems caused by the bags' being overstuffed. ?Jim Buck, King County's interim elections director, acknowledged that the problems -- including broken zippers and unclosed bag seals -- could potentially have allowed ballots to be cast after voting ended. Not clear yet whether any of the ballots are actually ineligible, and it's unlikely there could be nearly...

Can I call 'em, or can I call 'em? Nearly four years ago, I predicted charges of electoral fraud before the polls had even opened in the 2002 elections. I was right, and such charges have only grown louder as in recent elections. It's easy to dismiss this as the grousing of losers, for the good reason that that's pretty much what it is. But although it's easy, fun -- and basically the right thing to do -- to heap scorn on the purveyors of silly conspiracy theories, we shouldn't stop there. One of the great risks of the modern...

Volpe spokesman Corey Hobbs said contributions from five donors, all under age 18, have been returned. Each had given $5,400, the legal maximum. MEXICO CITY -- Mexico is offering to help Iraq create new, democratic elections based on its experience in building a system that allowed the peaceful end to 71 years of single-party rule. Manuel Carrillo, coordinator of international affairs for the Federal Electoral Institute, said Tuesday that the help would be provided through the United Nations. Mexico's Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez first mentioned the proposal during a news conference on Monday in Bangkok, where he was accompanying President Vicente Fox at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. Carrillo said his institute would help Iraq with "its knowledge and experience in terms...

ZURICH (Reuters) - The very close result of a Swiss referendum on asylum hung in the balance Wednesday as some local authorities began a recount after officials were found to have weighed voter slips instead of counting them. Keen to retain faith in a system which forms the backbone of Swiss democracy, the Alpine nation's federal chancellery has asked all cantons which used electronic weighing-scales without a permit to manually check their ballot papers. The local government of Berne said Wednesday it had begun recounting results from the city, while more recounts were expected to begin in the coming days....
