The Obama administration's handling of its multiple scandals paints a picture of those who believe they are above the law. There's a pattern of arrogance, dismissiveness, denial, scapegoating, stonewalling, lying, false professions of ignorance, assurances of accountability and punishing whistle-blowers. The numerous parallels in the administration's handling of the Fast and Furious and Internal Revenue Service scandals alone are too striking to be coincidental. The recurring theme is that the buck never stops at the Obama White House. With Fast and Furious, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives adopted an ill-conceived, indefensible plan to deliberately walk guns into...

As controversy continues to swirl around multiple scandals in Washington and as calls for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign grow louder, the nation’s top cop has said he has no intention of going anywhere. Attorney General Eric Holder told NBC News Wednesday that he has no intentions of stepping down. Holder has been embroiled in a furor over a Justice Department subpoena of Associated Press phone records and an investigation of leaks to Fox News correspondent James Rosen. Holder told NBC he is uncomfortable with how some of the leak investigations have progressed. Although he approved some of the...
  • A Pattern of Perjury

Even the most ardent liberal defenders of Eric Holder acknowledge that the embattled Attorney General "is in a mess of his own making," as Dana Milbank of the Washington Postput it. Under fire for his Justice Department going after AP reporters' personal records, Holder testified in May 2013 to Congress: "With regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material, that is not something that I have ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be a wise policy."But, Holder was caught in a lie when the Washington Post exposed an affidavit bearing Holder's signature naming...
