Special counsel Jack Smith’s team on May 3 acknowledged they misled U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon regarding the handling of evidence in one of the criminal cases against former President Donald Trump. Prosecutors in a court filing said that in some of the boxes FBI agents seized from President Trump’s Florida resort, the order of papers has been changed from shortly after the seizure. Prosecutors compared scans of the boxes done in 2022 under orders from Judge Cannon to the present state of the boxes and noticed that the order is not the same.

Jeffrey Epstein is going to name names — again. A mysterious “black book” believed to belong to the late pedophile financier, which revealed the names and addresses of 221 previously undisclosed people, is going up for auction — and bidders are being assured that their identities will be kept secret. It could fetch up to $200,000 — or more, the auction house owner told the Daily Beast, which first reported the story. **SNIP** The book was reportedly found on Fifth Avenue in the East Village by a female musician in the 1990s, but how it came to be there remains...

America First Legal (AFL) has sued the Biden administration's Health and Human Services (HHS) department as well as the National Archives (NARA) for allegedly deleting the emails of former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) employees. Last week AFL took legal action against HHS and NARA for allegedly deleting files against the law from CDC employees' emails. In a press release from AFL, the law firm stated that it was suing "Secretary Xavier Becerra, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Archivist of the United States Colleen Shogan, and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for...

Hundreds of cases, including Trump’s, will be affected if the top court strikes down the government’s use of an ‘obstructing an official proceeding’ charge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Supreme Court will strike down the use of a key federal law in the Biden administration’s ongoing prosecutions of Jan. 6 defendants and in the process shut down the government’s case against hundreds of defendants, legal experts predict. If the top court finds an Enron-era obstruction law—18 U.S. Code Section 1512(c)—is being used improperly against the defendants, their charges are likely to be thrown out. At issue is the evidence-tampering provision that appears in...

Sitrick & Company, the global crisis public relations firm who has a client list of the rich and powerful — including Jeffrey Epstein — was burglarized over the New Year's holiday by thieves who stole company computers just hours before a trove of long-sealed court documents related to the admitted pedophile were released. Michael Sitrick said his penthouse offices at 11999 San Vicente Boulevard, along with other occupants of the four-story building in Brentwood that bears his company's name Sitrick & Co., was broken into by unknown thieves just as explosive new documents about Epstein's proclivities with underage girls were...

National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) officials negotiating with President Joe Biden's legal team over his retention of classified materials appear to have abruptly changed course on the eve of the 2022 midterms and informed the president's attorney that the agency would need to seize the materials he had discovered at the Penn-Biden Center in Washington, D.C. "Pat, I believe that Gary will be reaching out to you and/or Bob. Based on some discussions this evening, we need to change our approach," reads a Nov. 7, 2022, email from NARA's William (Jay) Bosanko and Biden attorney Patrick Moore. "I believe...

President Donald Trump dropped a bombshell report on his Truth Social platform that the sham committee overseeing the investigation of the January 6th Capitol riot has destroyed their documents and records illegally. On Tuesday, Trump wrote: President Trump: So now that I have full Subpoena Power because of the Freedom of Speech Sham Indictment by Crooked Joe Biden, Deranged Jack Smith, and the DOJ, it has just been reported that the Unselect January 6th Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs has illegally destroyed their Records and Documents. Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith is overseeing the current investigation into and indictment of Donald Trump. But as USA Today reported, Smith “built [his] reputation” in his previous role overseeing the prosecution of former Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.). And according to Renzi himself, in exclusive comments to PJ Media, there’s evidence tying Smith to illegal wiretaps, jury influencing, payoffs for false testimony, and other highly questionable behavior. The newly published allegations led Donald Trump to call Smith “deranged.” Renzi was convicted on bribery and extortion charges, to which he pleaded “not guilty,” and was later given a full presidential...

The Democrat-led House Select Committee to Investigate Jan. 6 doctored a key piece of its evidence, adding audio to silent U.S. Capitol Police security footage used to create a dramatic video montage for the opening of its primetime hearings last summer, according to a Just the News review of the original raw footage and interviews. In at least two instances identified by Just the News, the panel's sizzle reel that aired live and on C-SPAN last June failed to identify that it had overdubbed audio from another, unidentified source onto the silent footage. HOLY MOLY. James Baker was Twitter's legal counsel. He formerly worked for the FBI, and it is alleged that he removed references to the FBI's involvement in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story after the NY Post published it before the 2020 election. Remember, about 17% of voters said they would have switched their vote if they had heard about the laptop or other scandals around the Biden name. Our friend Julie Kelly gave us a heads-up there was massive drama in the Proud Boys January 6 trial yesterday after an FBI agent was caught lying on the stand and concealing evidence from defense attorneys. It turns out that Special Agent Nicole Miller (or someone) deleted thousands of messages in FBIs "Lync" messaging system--messages relevant to investigation and required to be produced to defense counsel. This brazen lawlessness at FBI in its biggest January 6 case, observed Ms. Kelly, because it appears Special Agent Miller’s “Boss” instructed the FBI agent to "destroy" hundreds of items of evidence. If this...

Biden is leaving Camp David to go to Delaware just for one night on Sunday. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Friday refused to say why Biden was going to Wilmington, Delaware on Sunday night. “Is there a specific reason the president is leaving Camp David to go to Delaware just for that one night on Sunday night?” a reporter asked Karine Jean-Pierre. The January 6th Committee has faced criticism about a lack of transparency, its highly partisan composition, and its failure to investigate certain elements of the unrest that happened at the January 6th ‘Stop the Steal’ rally. The committee, made up of Democrats and two Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump, had its deadline bumped up to release its final report as Republicans are set to take over the House in January and will likely disband the committee. As the committee prepares to release its report, which could result in them recommending Trump for criminal prosecution by the Department of...

The FBI on Sept. 26 changed the total number of documents it said it seized from former President Donald Trump’s estate. Sixty-three additional documents or photographs without classification markings were taken from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort than previously listed by the FBI, according to an updated inventory list. The revised inventory was submitted to the federal court in southern Florida on orders from U.S. District Judge Raymond Dearie, a Reagan appointee who was inserted into the case as a special master, or an independent third party to handle disputes and other matters. Dearie ordered a government official “with sufficient knowledge of...
