‘The Justice Department just baptized Hunter Biden: a lifetime of sins washed away in an instant,’ Carlson said. ‘It was a secular miracle.’ (LifeSiteNews) — Following the news of Hunter Biden accepting a plea deal from his father’s Department of Justice (DOJ), Tucker Carlson argued that while ordinary citizens would go to jail for “cheating on [their] taxes or violating federal gun laws,” such “princelings” may “do what they want” and avoid any real consequences. It was reported Tuesday that U.S. President Joe Biden’s son Hunter agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges in exchange for avoiding prosecution...

One of David Hockney's famous "pool paintings" is coming to auction and is expected to sell in the $80 million range, easily breaking the record for a work by a living artist sold at auction. The British artist's "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)," to be auctioned at Christie's in November, is considered one of his premier works. Christie's has estimated the work at about $80 million, but says it expects it to sell for more. The previous record for a work by a living artist was set by Jeff Koons' "Balloon Dog," which sold for $58.4 million...
  • Museum Visitor Falls Into Giant Hole That Looks Like a Cartoonish Painting on the Floor

Like a real-life version of a Looney Tunes cartoon, a visitor to a Portuguese museum was injured last week when he stepped into an art installation resembling an inky void. Currently on exhibit at the Serralves Museum in Porto, Descent Into Limbo by Anish Kapoor includes an actual eight-foot hole that’s painted black—so it appears to have no depth at all. According to Britain’s Times, attendees of previous showings of the work have questioned “whether there really was a hole in the floor or whether it was simply a circle painted with an extremely dark black paint.” Presumably there will...

Stormy Daniels as the Virgin Mary? “Virgin,” a show of photographs by Nika Nesgoda, opens Thursday at the Spur, the Southampton co-working space and social club. Inspired by Caravaggio, who used a prostitute model for “Death of the Virgin” in 1606, Nesgoda had adult-film actresses Stormy, Tera Patrick (who has since retired from the industry) and other porn stars pose as the Virgin Mother in 2002. “Stormy doesn’t care what other people think of her. She’s a free spirit,” Nesgoda told The Post. “My show’s a playful look at art history. Pornography is art that we deem excessive in a...
  • Marilyn Monroe statue showing icon's butt draws ire after being placed near Connecticut church

Marilyn Monroe’s rear is getting some leers in Connecticut. A 26-foot statue of the iconic actress has been placed in a Stamford park across the street from a church, which is getting a full view of her behind. It depicts the famous scene from 1955’s “The Seven Year Itch” where Monroe holds down her white dress as air blows up from a subway grate. The back of the statue showing her underwear is clearly visible from the front of the First Congregational Church of Stamford.

John and Ken quickly discuss the issue of the first real "fake news" story in modern times pushed aggressively by the likes of CNN. This has led to a smaller battle to keep Congress respectful of our first responders. And really this is a Left vs. Right battle at it's most basic.
  • Fake art stars in New York show

An exhibition which has opened in New York takes the unlikely step of placing fake works of art on display. The Brooklyn Museum, like many others, began buying ancient Coptic and Pagan sculptures after World War II. However, the museum's curators recently discovered that roughly a third of their collection is fake. The resulting exhibition places genuine sculptures from the 4th Century AD alongside a small group of forgeries, probably from the mid-20th Century.Experts say there is no way of knowing exactly who carved the limestone fakes, though one theory suggests they may have been produced by prisoners-of-war in Egypt. Coptic...
