CNN's Jake Tapper has slammed colleague Chris Cuomo for joining strategy calls advising his brother Gov. Andrew Cuomo on how to respond to sexual harassment allegations. Tapper - who is widely seen as CNN's biggest star - told the New York Times that Chris' behavior put network employees in 'a bad spot'. 'I cannot imagine a world in which anybody in journalism thinks that that was appropriate,' the 52-year-old anchor stated in an interview conducted on Friday.

CNN’s Jake Tapper abruptly ended an interview with White House trade adviser Peter Navarro following a tense exchange about President Trump’s decision to initially downplay the threat of the coronavirus. Tapper asked Navarro to discuss a Feb. 7 recording with journalist Bob Woodward in which Trump said the virus is five times deadlier than the flu. In the weeks following, Trump continued to hold large rallies despite knowing the virus was airborne and deadly. CNN’s Jake Tapper took heat Tuesday for retweeting a post from conservative lawyer George Conway — a frequent critic of President Trump and the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway — that called the commander-in-chief “100% insane.” The CNN anchor on Monday retweeted Conway’s post, which said Trump “is 100% insane and nobody in the administration has the balls to tell him that,” The Hill reported.
