  • Enough! Most Say They're Over Sarah Palin, Poll Shows (So we wrote yet another story about her)

More than half of the country has a message for former Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin: enough. That's the result from a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll in which 54 percent of voters say they've heard enough from Palin and would prefer that she be less outspoken in political debates. That includes nearly two-thirds of Democrats, a majority of independents, and even nearly four-in-10 Republicans. And the results come as Palin has called for President Barack Obama's impeachment. (VIDEO-AT-LINK)But Palin isn't the only former politician voters wish would stay away from politics. Fifty-one percent of voters say they've heard...

Bachmann vs. Palin feud hits Twitter By Matt Lewis A few weeks ago, I pointed out that a prominent Sarah Palin blogger had turned on Michele Bachmann. On Fox News Sunday this week, Palin pointed out that she, unlike Bachmann, had executive experience (though added that Bachmann had strengths, too). The feud was taken to a new level, however, when Bachmann’s new “celebrity” campaign manager, Ed Rollins referred to Palin as “not serious.” This was too much for Palin supporter and talk radio host, Tammy Bruce who took to her Twitter feed. Bruce, who also appears in the new film...

Sarah Palin confronted our dishonest far left president on his constant lies about Medicare last night on Hannity. “The truth is that President Obama is lying. He’s not just misstating. He’s not just misconstruing some facts or some data. No, he’s lying when he says that those with Down Syndrome, that those with autism, those that need that safety net will be left on their own if the Republicans have their way. That is not true.”[SNIP]
  • Poor Mitt Romney! He missed the bus, again

Mitt Romney got beaten up by a girl yesterday. OK, so it’s not PC to call the former governor of Alaska a girl, but you know what I mean. Sarah Palin big-footed Romney big-time, not to mention Rudy Giuliani, who last night was in Dover, N.H., where he couldn’t have gotten arrested even if he’d tried. But for Palin, yesterday was mostly about putting a pie in Mitt’s face. As one of my listeners put it: “Romney has RomneyCare. Palin has no PalinCare. Advantage: Palin.” Poor Mitt. She hit him over the head like he was one of those giant...
  • Sarah Palin Versus the Field with 2006 as a Barometer

I have observed that the polls and the news readers have taken to reminding us that Sarah Palin's nomination spells certain defeat for the GOP in 2012. Let's examine the question of Sarah Palin's prowess as a candidate, measured against the current field: It has been noted that former Senator Rick Santorum won his Senate seat in a big GOP year (1994) and lost it big in a Democrat year (2006), sweeping in with one tide and out with another. This is evidence of weakness as a candidate. Let's examine the rest of this field, using 2006 as the barometer....

Sarah Palin is the voice of America. She is the mother, the daughter and the wife of good and reason. If the feminine spirit and energies were put on earth to guide and protect humankind, that spirit and energy are embodied in Governor Palin. Gov. Palin delivered a speech on Madison Wisconsin’s “Tax Day Rally” April 16, 2011 which places her as the only previously elected official that is willing to articulate the Conservative cause and defend it against it’s Progressive enemies in government and media. First, I must confess that I was put off of Ms. Palin because of...

I was looking for the "vanity" thing but could not find it. I hope I did not do anything wrong for Fr to post in this section. The first 3 words of Rush show today were for Sarah "Fight like a girl" - so I was very excited to hear what Rush had to say about that beautiful teaparty and Sarah speech in Madison Wisconsin. I think that was so important for the symbolism of it - unions and stuff - courageous of her to go there - and I also think that Sarah was great and her speech surely...

Fight Like A Girl In using that term, Sarah Palin issued a political call to action directed at the men who rule the Republican Party: "We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic," Palin said during a rally in front of the Wisconsin statehouse in Madison. "What we need from you, GOP, is to fight." Pointing to the national champion University of Wisconsin women's hockey team, Palin said the GOP could learn from its resolve and “needs to learn how to fight like a girl."But the phrase signaled far more.  Palin acknowledged what those of us...

Sarah Palin unleashed a withering critique of congressional Republicans Saturday, lambasting them for not cutting spending deeper and faster, and saying the party needs to “fight like a girl.” "We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic," Palin said during a rally in front of the Wisconsin statehouse in Madison. "What we need from you, GOP, is to fight." Pointing to the national champion University of Wisconsin women's hockey team, Palin said the GOP could learn from its resolve and “needs to learn how to fight like a girl."
