Fleetwood Mac co-founder Peter Green has died. He was 73. According to a family statement released on Saturday, the English singer-guitarist died in his sleep. "It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Green announce his death this weekend, peacefully in his sleep," the statement reads.

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Danny Kirwan has died in London aged 68. Kirwan was described as a "huge force" in Fleetwood Mac's early years, penning some of their lesser-known songs and contributing vocals. As a teenager, Kirwan's band Boilerhouse supported Fleetwood Mac at venues in London before he was invited to join the group itself in 1968. His work was featured on five of the band's albums released between 1969 and 1972. He passed away on 8 June according to a post on the band's official Facebook page by drummer Mick Fleetwood.

Early Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch was found dead Thursday afternoon (June 7) from what police are describing as a self-inflicted gun shot wound. According to the Associated Press, the 65-year-old Welch shot himself in the chest inside his Nashville-area home. The rocker was a part of the group from 1971 to 1974, before the band really took off with the ‘Fleetwood Mac’ and ‘Rumours’ albums. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Nashville police say Bob Welch, a former member of Fleetwood Mac who also had a solo career, has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 65.
