Dear Fellow FReepers, Can you please say a quick prayer for me? I'm one of those people that COVID wrecked early in 2020. It damaged my lungs, causing me to develop COPD. My second round of COVID shut down my digestive system for three weeks. A few months later, I developed novel seizures that interrupted the communication between my parasympathetic nervous system and the rest of my nervous system. Please pray for my health. I am having several different issues, and I'm not sure if they are related. Acid reflux, sinus infection/headaches. Pray that I will be wise in knowing just how to treat this and when/if I should seek medical help. It is keeping me from getting rest at night.Sometimes doctors can lead us astray.

She has had pneumonia and sepsis since December. She reached out to me to post a request for prayers. Prayers are powerful things!

I'm asking for prayers for my Mom, who is having some severe circulatory issues in her leg, is going to lose a toe and possibly her foot. It isn't diabetes, but a genetic vascular problem. I know this works, because the prayers for my Dad get credit in him recovering from a shattered pelvis. He's recovered, and back on his feet and getting around without a cane or walker (at 92). All things are possible with The Lord.

After everything that could be done was tried at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we had to acknowledge that James, my 11-year-old grandson was gone. Trying to adjust to this terrible reality has been difficult beyond imagination for my son Liam. Everyone else is devastated but Liam is finding it very hard to even begin to heal. Prayers for my service dog

Jim and his family need our prayers tonight. Sheila has not been doing very well and has been bed-ridden for about 3 weeks. The visiting nurse just left after informing Jim that Sheila will probably pass tonight. Sheila's organs are shutting down, her blood pressure has dropped and her breathing is very labored.

Jim's Wife, Sheila, is in need of all our prayers. She has not been doing very well and has gotten very weak. She eats very little. Jim has nurses coming in 3 times a week and senior helpers coming in every morning. Senior helpers help with cooking, cleaning and anything else where help is needed. In adition to chcking her vitals, they make sure she takes her medication and they give her bed baths. John and Chris are working around the clock to make sure she is turned every two hours. Several weeks ago, I started work on a Monday with a sore throat and headache. I was doing a final review of my high rise building in anticipation of the Fire Marshall's visit that week. Tuesday, I was sick as a dog. Raging fever, aches and chills, migraine, and a persistent, dry cough. Used Dayquil and Nyquil to dampen the effects and clear my system. By Wednesday, I was at my doctor's office. I tested negative for the flu. Blood pressure and temperature were way up. They gave me a cocktail booster shots, ciprofloxacin, and prednisone. This post is to ask for prayers for a very serious surgery I am scheduled to have this next Wednesday. It is a 4 to 7 hour long gastrectomy to remove my stomach with its related stage three cancerous tumor, now dead from chemo. I was diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer in July. The current “best practices” calls for four component FLOT chemotherapy, scan for lack of spread, gastrectomy if the patient can endure it, then a follow-up second four rounds of chemo. Hello fellow Freepers. My mother - Kathy, who married her current husband Brian a few years ago, where I was the usher - has been trying to have a child with him. The first two attempts did not succeed, as the fertilized eggs ended up settling in the Fallopian tubes both times, resulting in miscarriages. They were both very sad about this, and it might be a possibility that her body is too battered from already delivering three children (myself and my two little sisters). I have been a freerepublic member for a long time and usually lurk but tonight I find myself in need of your prayers for my unborn son. During a routine ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation, it appears my little boy's stomach is on his right side rather than his left. The doctor could not give us any more information and is having us see a doctor at the hospital where they have more high tech equipment. Please pray for this little baby, that all will be well.
