DENVER -- Denver rescue divers saved a dog from drowning in a frozen lake, but were unable to rescue a second dog. It happened at Houston Lake Park in southwest Denver on Wednesday morning, while the temperature was about zero. Two dogs were about 200 feet offshore when they fell through the ice. Two divers broke through the ice and swam out to the dogs. They were able to get to them and were helped back to shore by fellow divers.
