The Drag Queen Story Hour, pushed by the American Library Association, that has invaded libraries across the United States is raising serious questions about child protection protocol. Photographs have surfaced showing a drag queen, Carla Rossi, rolling around on the floor in full-body contact with minor children at the Multnomah County Library (MCL) in Oregon. The event appears to have happened last October and photographs were recently found on the library's Flickr account. With the spotlight on the Catholic Church for allowing abuse to go unreported or covered up for many years and the hypersensitivity to the #MeToo movement, are...

The most jarring fact about New York’s Pride March this year was how perfectly it blended into the surrounding ambience and structures of a hyper-commercialised American megalopolis. There were plenty of freaky sights, to be sure. But from my vantage point – I parked myself at the swanky bar of the Roger Hotel at the corner of Madison and 31st to observe the festivities – the march appeared remarkably… domesticated. This is a painful reality to the most woke among the LGBTQ activists, who detest corporate-friendly “rainbow capitalism”. But I’m afraid the more corporate-friendly side of the movement has the...

Today the country celebrates Pride with its symbol, the rainbow. The rainbow generally follows the dark clouds: when colour and light once more break through; much like the history of Pride itself. This weekend also marks the 50th anniversary of a police raid on the Stonewall Inn. Its brutality sparked riots that energised the fight for gay equality in the US. The stand taken and the refusal to be beaten down is said to have been the catalyst for the modern gay-rights movement. If today people of the same sex can walk hand in hand without comment, it might too...

On June 28, 1969, a New York City police raid on a bar in Greenwich Village sparked riots that would go on to launch the modern gay rights movement. Fifty years later, the Stonewall uprising is still recognized throughout the month of June and this year the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and their allies are hitting the streets again. Heritage of Pride, the non-profit organization that hosts New York City's official Pride Month events each June, is holding a rally Friday to "re-imagine" the experience of that day 50 years ago. The Stonewall riots began in the early...

SEATTLE, June 26, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — A public library in Washington state was the platform for a drag show and "pride celebration designed by teens for teens" that featured a man dressed in drag who roared incoherently while on all fours. One parent called it “demonic.” “This is what demonic possession looks like. (Watch to the end.) I know a lot of y’all don’t believe in the spiritual realm, but thanks for bearing with me anyway. In my opinion, this is it. On all fours. Growling. At the teen pride event at the public library,” wrote one parent about the...

An attorney for Hollywood director Bryan Singer announced Wednesday that the filmmaker will pay $150,000 to resolve allegations that he raped a 17-year-old boy while partying on a yacht in 2003. The "X-Men" director was accused of sexually assaulting then-underage Cesar Sanchez-Guzman during a Seattle yacht party. Singer allegedly lured him into a secluded area and forced the teen to perform oral sex. Sanchez-Guzman's lawsuit filed in December 2017 also alleges that Singer performed oral sex on the 17-year-old against his will and anally penetrated him, according to the Los Angeles Times.

When Cody Barlow missed the Pride parade in Tulsa -- the closest celebration to his rural Oklahoma town -- he found another way to be an LGBTQ ally. Using duct tape and mailbox letters, he decorated the tailgate of his 1991 Chevrolet Silverado with a rainbow pride flag and a message: "Not all country boys are bigots... Happy Pride Month." Barlow, 28, identifies as a heterosexual man. He has gay friends and relatives who have experienced hatred because of their sexual orientation, he said. He wanted those people and others like them to know they're not alone, even in places...

Peter Bright (Twitter: @DrPizza), best known as a contributing writer to the tech publication Ars Technica, has been arrested on charges of soliciting sex with children online. This complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, shows that an undercover FBI special agent contacted Bright via KinkD, a social media platform for sexual fetish connections, on April 18. “Bright has been charged with one count of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity,” reports Claire Goforth at The Daily Dot: A federal complaint alleges that Bright sought to molest a 7-...

Recently Sohrab Ahmari, op-ed editor of The New York Post, saw something online that left him shaken. “This is demonic,” he tweeted. “To hell with liberal order.” His moral indignation led him to write a much discussed essay in the religious journal First Things. Castigating conservatives who see a possibility of coexistence with the left, he called for a religious Reconquista of American politics. The right, he argued, should “fight the culture war with the aim of defeating the enemy and enjoying the spoils in the form of a public square reordered to the common good and ultimately the Highest...

Twitter began trending the topic of the Straight Pride Parade after a group of Boston fellows decided to take a jab at the polemics surrounding identity politics, and it’s absolutely degenerative stranglehold on today’s culture, which has led to nothing but turmoil and anguish for normal people. According to an article published on June 4th, 2019 by the Washington Examiner, organizer Mark Sahady had to file a discrimination complaint to get the parade approved in Boston, Massachusetts, and plan on hosting the parade on August 31st. The purpose of the parade? Well, according to John Hugo, President of Super Happy...

Pride Month kicks off in Boston on Tuesday with a lights event, a paint night — and preparations for a possible “Straight Pride Parade” this summer. The event to celebrate heterosexuality in one of the nation’s most gay-friendly cities is meant to poke fun at the “identity politics” of the political left, organizer Mark Sahady wrote in a Facebook comment. The parade organizers have designed a flag and designated actor Brad Pitt as their “mascot.” “For them everything is based upon identity and whether or not one is categorized as a victim or an oppressor,” Sahady wrote on Facebook. “If...

Italy’s Minister for the Family has openly endorsed a “Procession of Reparation to the Sacred Heart” being held in the northern Italian city of Modena on Saturday, June 1. The aim of the procession is to atone for a “gay pride” event being held in the city the same day. Asked about the event in a recent video interview, Lorenzo Fontana, Minister for the Family and vice-secretary for Italy’s Northern League party, said he “absolutely agrees” with the procession. “I am happy that you all are doing this, and I wish you good luck,” Fontana told organizers. “Let’s hope that...

Andrew Moffat, assistant head teacher at Parkfield Community School and pioneer of the inclusive No Outsiders programme, will walk “arm in arm” with LGBT+ Muslim campaigners on Saturday (May 25). Birmingham Pride co-director Lawrence Barton said: “We’re delighted that Andrew [Moffat] is going to be leading the carnival parade this year, joined by Muslim friends, in a space that celebrates equality, freedom, respect and tolerance for all communities. “There’ll...

The Moscow city administration had refused to allow representatives of the LGBT community to hold a gay pride parade on May 25 and three rallies on May 25, 26, and 27, LGBT activist Nikolai Alexeev told Interfax. The estimated number of would-be participants in the procession is 300. “The Moscow authorities just forbade the holding of a Moscow gay parade for the 14th year in a row, and also three LGBT meetings, including with a call for the execution of the decree of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in the case of ‘Alexeev and others vs. Russia’ on...

New York (AFP) - One of the large digital billboards dotting New York's iconic Times Square briefly caught fire Saturday, before the blaze was extinguished with no reported injuries, officials said. Flames started bursting out of the billboard around 3:00 pm (1900 GMT). Social media users posted images and video showing the blaze burning on one side of the sign as it displayed an ad for SKYY vodka as sponsor of New York's WorldPride celebrations next month, marking the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall gay rights uprising. The ad featured drag queen Trixie Mattel. Other ads were also displayed on...
