The Girl Scouts of the United States of America filed a lawsuit on Tuesday seeking to stop the Boy Scouts of America from rebranding its Boy Scouts program and referring to members simply as "Scouts." At least one Girl Scout Troop in Salt Lake City is now accepting boys. The troop meets every Monday at the Utah Pride Center and is open to boys who identify as girls. Their first meeting yesterday included five girls between the ages of six and ten, but no boys yet. A group of high school students from Gary, Indiana is suing the Girl Scouts for not admitting teenage boys to a local troop.
