Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic died on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack the day prior, the team announced. “We are absolutely devastated by Dejan Milojević’s sudden passing,” the Warriors said in a statement. “This is a shocking and tragic blow for everyone associated with the Warriors and an incredibly difficult time for his family, friends, and all of us who had the incredible pleasure to work with him. “… We grieve with and for his wife, Natasa, and their children, Nikola and Masa.” The 46-year-old Serbian coach was hospitalized in Salt Lake City, Utah, Tuesday night after...

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was suspended indefinitely by the NBA on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after he hit Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face and received a Flagrant 2 foul and ejection. The league announced the penalty handed down by operations chief Joe Dumars and said the suspension begins immediately. It’s already Green’s second suspension this season.
  • Former Warrior Nick Young takes strange dig at Jayson Tatum: ‘His true light skin colors came out’

Tatum struggled in the NBA Finals, averaging 3.8 turnovers in 6 gamesThere’s a lot to criticize about Jayson Tatum’s performance in the 2022 NBA Finals. During the six Finals games, Tatum averaged just 21.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 6.8 rebounds. He also averaged 3.8 turnovers per game, even though his regular season career average is 2.1. Needless to say, those stats are underwhelming and ultimately didn’t get the job done as the Celtics lost the series 4-2. However, former Warriors guard Nick Young didn’t mention any of that in his tweet throwing shade at Tatum. Instead, Young called Tatum out...

Former Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski told ESPNU’s Sirius XM radio that the desire to own an “automatic weapon” is “disgusting.” Krzyzewski said Golden State Warriors’ Steve Kerr was “right on” for making comments about gun control. Breitbart News reported that Kerr pushed more gun control after the May 24, 2022, Uvalde, Texas, school shooting. “When are we going to do something!” exclaimed Kerr. “I’m tired, I’m so tired of getting up here and then offering condolences to the devastated families that are out there and I’m so tired of the moments of silence. Enough!” He specifically pointed to background...

I am an Investment Adviser and the last half of this video is MUST WATCHING, as he takes to task the smug CNBC interviewer Scott Wapner. You can here him discuss how the hedge funds DID IT AGAIN with overleverage. And it looks like this afternoon, the late sell off was a blown up hedge fund ordered to liquidate.

The Golden State Warriors issued a statement regarding owner Chamath Palihapitiya’s controversial comments on Uyghur genocide in China. “Let’s be honest, nobody cares about what’s happening to the Uyghurs. You bring it up because you care and I think it’s nice that you care. The rest of us don’t care,” Palihapitiya said Saturday on a podcast that he co-hosts called “All In.” “I’m telling you a very hard, ugly truth. Of all the things that I care about, it is below my line.” “I think that human rights in the United States is way more important to me than human...

Chamath Palihapitiya, a part-owner and director of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors and the venture capitalist founder and CEO of Social Capital, offered the "very hard ugly truth" about China’s human rights abuses against Uyghur Muslims in a podcast interview. Palihapitiya appeared on the "All-In Podcast" on Saturday. He made his remarks about Uyghur Muslims after his co-host Jason Calacanis praised President Biden for his decision to ban the import of goods made through forced Uyghur labor. "Nobody cares about what’s happening to the Uyghurs, OK? You bring it up because you really care and I think it’s nice that...

Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins was denied Friday in his quest for a religious exemption by the NBA to San Francisco’s vaccine requirement. Wiggins has steadfastly refused to get the vaccine, according to a report this week from the San Francisco Chronicle. Since the city requires vaccination for everyone at large, indoor gatherings — such as basketball games — the veteran forward will not be able to play in any home games if he remains resistant to getting the shot. It’s possible he won’t be able to play at a number of road arenas that also require vaccination.

It’s San Francisco. Rightly, when it comes to love, anything goes. But one wedding this month garnered attention for breaking one of the last barriers in this country’s long fight for marriage equality. Rick Welts, president of the Golden State Warriors, married Todd Gage, a Southwest flight attendant, in Room 200. It is believed to be the first time an executive for a professional men’s sports team married his same-sex partner. According to the Advocate, there are no out players in professional male sports and just a smattering of out executives and coaches. Same-sex weddings in the macho world of...

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr criticized Vice President Mike Pence on Friday, accusing him of lying about Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani's involvement with the attacks on Sept. 11. "One thing I've learned in my lifetime is to not believe our government when it comes to matters of war," he tweeted. "Johnson and Nixon lied about Viet Nam [sic]. Bush and Cheney lied about WMD's in Iraq. Now Pence is lying about Iran/Soleimani's supposed involvement in 9/11." The NBA champion Golden State Warriors missed out on a White House visit for the second year in a row, meeting instead Thursday with former President Barack Obama rather than President Trump. Pro sports teams are traditionally invited to the White House after winning championships, but Trump rescinded the offer to the Warriors in September 2017 after stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durantmade critical remarks. Curry and Durant said their team wasn't planning on visiting Trump anyway. During their visit to Washington last year, the team instead toured the National Museum of African American History and Culture, accompanied by local schoolchildren. An Instagram photo posted by the Warriors’...

I think what we’re learning here is that NBA players are huge fans of conspiracy theories. Nearly two years after Kyrie Irving said the Earth is flat on a podcast with then-Cleveland Cavaliers teammates Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye, fellow All-Star point guard Stephen Curry informed us that man never landed on the moon during an appearance with Golden State Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala on a new podcast featuring Atlanta Hawks players Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore. Curry even tipped his cap to Irving, suggesting, “They’re gonna come get us,” an ode to the social media firestorm that followed Irving’s...

A top Hollywood publicist says the excitement in Los Angeles over Texas Democratic Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke is at a level he hasn't seen for a national liberal politician in years. Danny Deraney, whose clientele has included A-listers like Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Beyonce and Madonna, told NBC News in another profile of O'Rourke that he has effectively swept the famously progressive town off its feet: Danny Deraney, a Hollywood publicist who has worked with celebrities like Justin Timberlake and Madonna, said he hasn't seen Los Angeles this excited about a national politician in years. Fans in Cleveland probably will need awhile to get over the Cavaliers’ overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals — in particular, JR Smith’s blunder in the final seconds of regulation that cost the team a chance to win. And they’re not alone. There are plenty of other fans from other sports towns (or in one case, an entire country) who have felt the same way after some athlete’s boneheaded play at a critical point in a huge game. Here’s a sampling, starting with Smith’s woeful tale (sorry, Cavs fans). With the score...

LeBron James called Donald Trump a "bum" after the US President rescinded an invitation for Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry to go to the White House. Trump tweeted Saturday that Curry is no longer invited to the White House because of what the president called hesitation by the two-time NBA MVP in deciding whether to make the traditional champions' trip to Washington. That prompted an angry response from Cleveland Cavaliers star James. James tweeted: "U bum. Stephen Curry already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honour until you showed...
