Germany’s Green party has suggested drastic consequences for the US President after he ordered a temporary travel block for refugees and citizens of seven predominantly Muslim countries. […] “If the USA does not immediately rescind this insane travel block for representative Omid Nouripour and other German citizens, then we should block Donald Trump’s trip to the G20 summit in Hamburg. It is not possible to have serious discussions under these circumstances,” Green party parliamentary spokesman Dieter Janecek told Handelsblatt at the weekend. Trump accepted Chancellor Angela Merkel’s invitation at the weekend to the July summit, government spokesman Steffen Seibert said....

Beginning on Tuesday, diesel vehicles will be banned from driving on Oslo streets because of acute levels of dangerous air pollution. On both Monday and Tuesday, weather forecasts call for cold weather and very little wind, conditions likely to cause high levels of exhaust pollution over large areas of the city. Therefore the City of Oslo will for the first time ever implement a ban on diesel vehicles on municipal roads. On Tuesday, the ban will be in effect from 6am to 10pm. It will remain in effect during those same hours for as long as air pollution levels are...

Sex with prostitutes will be paid for by the Government for anyone too poor for a hooker and deemed to need sexual assistance under German Green Party plans. The party's care spokeswoman Elisabeth Scharfenberg says doctors should have the right to issue the free prescriptions to their patients for ladies of the night. Prostitution is legal in Germany and carries little of the taboos associated with it in many other countries. There are brothels in virtually every town and a trend recently began with working girls offering 'sexual assistance' to dementia sufferers, the handicapped and people living in care homes....

Was watching the despair of the Left right after the election entertaining? Well, December 19 will also be entertaining when the Electoral College makes the election of Donald Trump official. Oh, and it will also be a happy day for your humble correspondent when I am finally able to collect a few hundred bucks from my PredictIt wager on Trump. One of the reasons that the Electoral College vote is in the bag is that the Green Party has dropped the recount in Pennsylvania. I guess Jill Stein wanted to hold onto that cash sent to her so she...

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Latest on the presidential recount efforts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (all times local): 12 p.m. Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein says her efforts to force recounts in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are "about ensuring that all votes are counted and that voters can trust the system." Stein made the comments Monday outside of Trump Tower in New York City. The news conference had a circus-like atmosphere, as some of President-elect Donald Trump's supporters heckled Stein...

Whats going on in Pennsylvania is that there is a certain margin of votes that have to be reached before a recount is triggered. Pennsylvania has not hit that level. So for there to be a recount the Green Party would have to put up a $1,000,000 dollars bond for the labor in the event the election results do not change for the winning candidate. The Green Party does not want to put up the money. So they're filing a federal lawsuit to try to force a recount for free. Even though it cost them to file the suit. In...

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Green Party-backed voters dropped a court case Saturday night that had sought to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania’s Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, in what Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein had framed as an effort to explore whether voting machines and systems had been hacked and the election result manipulated. But later Saturday night, the party announced it’ll go to federal court instead. A statement from the lead lawyer for the recount campaign says it’ll seek an emergency federal court order for the recount. It says barriers to a recount in...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: And now the Green Party is saying, "We don't even support this. We didn't support Hillary. What's our candidate doing trying to get Hillary elected?" So the Green Party is abandoning Jill Stein. Anyway, what a way to end the week. Another busy broadcast week here at the EIB Network. Rush Limbaugh at 800-282-2882, and email address, ElRushbo@eibnet.us. It's Open Line Friday, which means I don't have to know anything about what you're calling about. I don't have to care about it. Monday through Thursday those two things are very important, but on Friday you can pretty...

The first day of Wisconsin’s presidential recount narrowed the gap between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President-elect Donald Trump by precisely one vote. Trump defeated Clinton in Wisconsin’s initial tally by about one percent, or just over 22,000 votes. Nevertheless, Green Party candidate Jill Stein (who finished a very distant fourth) is demanding a full recount after suggesting fraud or technological glitches may have swayed the results. In response to Stein’s demand, Wisconsin began recounting all its ballots Thursday. But the first results to emerge suggest the final tally will be rather close to the original one. Only...

President-elect Donald Trump's lawyers have filed an objection against Green Party candidate Jill Stein's recount in Michigan, calling the request lawless and insulting. President-elect Donald Trump's lawyers have filed an objection to the recount in Michigan, delaying and potentially blocking a review that was slated to begin Friday.

Madison — Green Party candidate Jill Stein will not appeal a judge's rejection of her lawsuit to force a hand recount of nearly 3 million presidential ballots in Wisconsin, clearing the way for machines to be used in the statewide effort beginning Thursday. Also Wednesday, Stein filed another recount petition in Michigan and the Republican Party of Wisconsin filed a federal elections complaint against both Stein and Democrat Hillary Clinton. The complaint alleges that Stein — who received only a small share of the vote — is improperly fundraising to pay for a recount that primarily benefits Clinton, the second-place...

Members from the state's Green Party are hosting viewing parties on how to train people interested in observing the presidential recount Thursday. People from different political backgrounds gathered in Muskego on Tuesday night to train for the historic recount process. "I'm interested in how the whole election process works and how it doesn't work," said Jim Shepard, of Woodstock, Illinois. The effort is being funded and led by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, who addressed the crowd remotely through Skype. "We're going to start by recounting the votes in Wisconsin," Stein said. People in attendance were given guidance by...

Most people couldn't wait for the grueling, nasty, seemingly interminable 2016 election to end. Jill Stein wants to keep it going. And she's willing to waste a lot of money, time, and attention to do so. Like a bad actor that insists on one last curtain call after the audience has headed for the exits, the Green Party nominee seems to stubbornly believe in her relevance even after the election demonstrated its non-existence beyond any doubt. Stein's demand for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania demonstrates arrogance bordering on parody. Stein didn't lose the election so much as she...

Chaos reigns in the liberal/left alt universe following its defeat in the presidential elections with members turning on each other. While Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein is pushing forward with her online begging to fund her presidential recount campaign, encouraged by losing Democratic candidate Hillary R. Clinton, rank and file Green Party members are voicing their opposition. Dr. Margaret Flowers, Green Party candidate for Senate from Maryland, released a letter on her campaign site complaining about the misuse of time and funds in the Green Party's name, suggesting their efforts be redirected to more important party causes. The letter...

In a letter penned by Green Party Senate Candidate Margaret Flowers, and signed by dozens of prominent GPUS members, the Greens have rebelled against the farcical "recount effort" conducted by Jill Stein, saying "while we support electoral reforms, including how the vote is counted, we do not support the current recount being undertaken by Jill Stein."The reason for this is that as the author notes, "as a candidate, Dr. Stein has the right to call for a recount. However, we urge the GPUS to distance itself from any appearance of support for either Democrats or Republicans. We are well...

MADISON, WIS. Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein says she's committed to pay for a vote recount in Wisconsin even though she calls the estimated $3.5 million cost "exorbitant." Stein says the estimate Monday from Wisconsin election officials means she'll be asking her supporters to raise another $2.4 million. In a statement Tuesday, Stein says it's an "undue burden" but won't stop efforts for recounts in that state and in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Stein missed Pennsylvania's deadline to file for a voter-initiated recount. That blown deadline is a huge blow for Democrats who have pinned their hopes on recounts in the Keystone State, Michigan and Wisconsin. "According to Wanda Murren, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Department of State," the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday, "the deadline for a voter-initiated recount was Monday, Nov. 21."
