The House Science, Space, and Technology Committee on Thursday launched a bipartisan investigation into the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the U.S. Department of Commerce over allegations the agency’s chief had engaged in whistleblower retaliation. Sarah Palin was involved in a brief argument over the weekend with an Alaska teacher over her decision to leave her post as governor of Alaska halfway through her term. The dustup occurred in Homer, Ala., where Palin appeared over the weekend to film part of her coming television series on TLC.
