Officials at the Department of Homeland have drafted plans to end former President Barack Obama’s policy of awarding an extra work-visa to many H-1B guest workers. The policy has delivered at least 78,000 extra H-4 work-permits to the spouses of foreign H-1B guest workers. Many of the spouses are white-collar graduates who compete for the jobs also sought by young American graduates. A regulation to end the H-4 giveaway is “on the table” an agency official told Breitbart News. If published in the federal register, it will be enforced after 60 days but likely will be tangled up in business-funded...

President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort has been granted 70 visas to bring in foreign workers for the winter season, The Palm Beach Post reports. That’s a 9 percent increase from last year, when Mar-a-Lago hired 64 workers under the H-2B visa program. The new visas will go to 20 foreign cooks, 35 waiters and 15 maids and housekeepers for the 2017-18 tourist season, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. They’ll earn hourly wages from $10.33 (for the cleaners) to $13.34 (for the cooks). The temporary visas allow them to work from October 2017 to the end of May 2018. A hallmark of Trump’s presidential...

This morning’s headline at one Indian news website said it all: “Trouble for Indian Techies” The “trouble” is coming from a move by the Trump administration that will raise the bar for H-1B visa holders in the United States seeking to renew their permits to work here. Also impacted by the directive announced this week is the L1 visa, which is popular among foreign IT professionals. The Trump team wants visa holders to carry the burden of proof not only when applying for an H-1B the first time, but every time an extension is sought.

  • GOP Sens. Blunt and Moran Offer Green Cards to Outsource More White-Collar Jobs

    Breitbart.com ^ | Sept. 29, 2017 | Neil Munro
GOP Senators Roy Blunt and Jerry Moran have introduced legislation which would outsource another 125,000 white-collar jobs to foreigners each year. The outsourcing bill is being pitched as a pro-technology, pro-entrepreneurship bill even though many young and middle-aged Americans in the two Senators’ home states of Missouri and Kansas are already working with technology or as entrepreneurs. The outsourcing bill is dubbed the “Startup Act,” and it closely models prior bills sought by the high-tech sector, where executives and investors are working to raise profits by further reducing the salaries paid to American college graduates and technology experts.

Just a reminder of the list of most traitorous Congressional RINOs up for reelection next year and a priority for Cantorizing in the 2018 primaries. They performed their rank betrayal and backstabbing by voting in favor of the Senate's 2013 Gang of Eight immigration reform bill that favored mass amnesty, mass immigration and even more job-killing h1b visas.Even worse, these cowards, traitors and sell-outs generally did so while taking essentially bribery money from Chamber of Commerce lobbyists or globalist open-borders fanatics like Sheldon Adelson, Mark Zuckerberg or George Soros, the very worst kinds of traitors. They therefore betrayed the conservative...

WASHINGTON — U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said so-called “chain migration,” a term often used to refer to citizens or permanent residents sponsoring relatives or the clustering of certain immigrants in the same areas, cannot be included in any immigration legislation. “CHAIN MIGRATION cannot be allowed to be part of any legislation on Immigration!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

The cap that President Trump has refused to lift on H-2B visas has forced companies all over the United States to do the unthinkable and hire American workers! What’s worse is that they are complaining that they have to pay American workers more…Tell me again; didn’t someone say that immigration was good for Americans? Is this not irrefutable evidence that the low-skilled (or living in low-opportunity areas) workers are being squeezed out of the job market by workers who are willing to take a lower wage? Isn’t this known as wage-suppression? The fact that employers are hiring people as seasonal...

Foreign nationals attempting to enter the United States through various visa programs will now have to prove they have the means return to their native countries as federal law mandates. As part of President Donald Trump’s Buy American, Hire American Executive Order, the vetting procedures conducted by the State Department of foreign nationals trying to come to the U.S. have been strengthened to weed out not only radicalized individuals, but also foreigners with no documented intentions on departing. The National Law Review outlined the changes by the Trump Administration, writing that “the revisions appear to instruct officers to apply a...

A CEO who bailed on President Donald Trump’s now-defunct American Manufacturing Council imported workers to take jobs in the United States. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich left Trump’s manufacturing council after he disagreed with the response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. “I resigned because I want to make progress, while many in Washington seem more concerned with attacking anyone who disagrees with them,’’ Krzanich wrote in a blog post. “We should honor—not attack—those who have stood up for equality and other cherished American values.’’ But, as Trump’s manufacturing council was set up to bring back manufacturing and jobs to the...
  • Salaries have risen for high-skilled foreign workers in U.S. on H-1B visas

    08/19/2017 7:53:01 AM PDT · by ameribbean expat · 25 replies
U.S. employers planned to pay high-skilled foreign workers with H-1B visas a median salary of $80,000 a year in fiscal year 2016, up from about $69,000 a decade earlier, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of new U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services data. This is the first time the U.S. government has made salary information about H-1B applicants publicly available. Most H-1B applicants get approved for visas, so the data provide a window into the salaries of high-skilled foreign workers employed in the United States.

IT major Tech Mahindra plans to hire around 2,200 people in the US this year, same as last year, amid the American government’s call for creation of jobs in the country. The Mumbai-based company, which has over 6,000 people working for over 400 clients in the US, has been recruiting resources out of colleges in the US over the past four years. “Last year, we hired around 2,200 people and we expect to do the same this year as well,” Tech Mahindra President, Strategic Verticals, Lakshmanan Chidambaram told reporters here. The Trump administration put a hold Monday on an Obama-era policy that was designed to encourage foreign entrepreneurs to settle in the U.S. to build their companies, saying immigration officials are already overwhelmed with more important work. It’s the latest of President Obama’s executive actions on immigration to be unwound by President Trump, and it comes a week before the new policy was to take effect. Under the now-delayed program, foreigners who were trying to build or invest in startup companies were to be granted “parole” into the U.S., which is special permission to be here with legal status and...

Infosys, the India-based information technology consulting firm with an office in Plano, is facing yet another reverse discrimination lawsuit asserting that it creates a hostile work environment for workers who aren't from India or South Asia. Erin Green, former supervisor at Infosys, filed suit this week in the Eastern District of Texas in Sherman, alleging that he and black and white staffers on his team were denied raises and promotions, and that other "non-South Asian" workers were berated by South Asian company officials. Green, of Frisco, is white and rose to the rank of "head of global immigration" while working...

Tech jobs in the U.S. can offer salaries of up to $100,000 and above, and recruiters are in a rush to find those with the skills needed to fill open positions across the country. The job market has never been better for IT: they unarguably offer the best type of employment opportunities, with high wages, generous benefits, and the comfort of job security. Entering into IT workforce can reap the great rewards of a growing field. Based on job satisfaction, position openings, and earning potential, tech jobs are the most worthwhile. The even better news, however, is that many, if...

An Iowa information technology staffing company last week posted an ad that essentially told American citizens they need not apply. The ad by American Technology Consulting, posted to the recruiting website ZipRecruiter, sought a java developer to work in San Diego. Initially, it stated “H1B Only,” a reference to the H-1B guest worker visa program for high-skilled workers. The company changed the ad and deleted reference to the H-1B visas, but critics said it likely violates the Civil Right Act, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of citizenship and national origin.“It’s explicitly against the law,” said Mark Krikorian, executive director of...
