The proposed changes (HB 300) to the Human Relations Act should be problematic to all people, because language like this has been used in other states to subvert First Amendment religious rights. There have been many examples of religious groups being forced (illegally) to undermine their beliefs or abandon charity efforts because of laws and reckless judicial rulings like HB300. Churches sued because they wouldn't allow gay marriages. Churches who had to abandon adoption ministries because they wouldn't place with same-sex couples. The list goes on.
