This video shows Hillary Clinton using hand signals to communicate with Lester Holt at the first Presidential debate.

Video analysis of Presidential Debate #1 raises uncomfortable questions about the moderator role, much as questions have been raised about Hillary's email server. Hillary might have been using hand signals to indicate debate junctures where Hillary saw chances to use pre-memorized debate zingers. Other signals seem to prompt Holt to abruptly break in and contest certain claims advanced by Trump. During the debate when Clinton wanted to signal Holt whent she wanted the floor, she rubbed her face in a manner similar to a baseball manager.
