Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) announced Sunday that he suffered a minor stroke over the weekend and is currently being hospitalized. The 63-year-old senator was delivering a speech in western Maryland over the weekend when he started to feel light-headed, he said. He sought medical attention following his speech and soon learned that he experienced a minor stroke.

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) argued Thursday that the higher insurance premiums being created by ObamaCare would make it impossible for George Washington — known in part for the apocryphal saying he could not tell a lie — to call ObamaCare the "affordable" care act. Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen Thursday morning announced that his office is seeking the required authorization to bring an action to contest certain provisions of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
