We are not the ones we have been waiting for. That was the takeaway message of the recent Restoring Honor rally on the National Mall. Unless you where on a strict no-media diet in the run-up to Labor Day this year, you saw a lot of Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin in the coverage of the rally. But the rally Beck organized and where Palin appeared, which honored wounded military heroes, actually had very little to do with the two media darlings. Several people have been asking around about who is goes to the 08/28. I'm going to be going with a few other Freepers, and I thought I'd start a thread so that we can talk about going and trying to meet up if anyone wants to. If someone else has already organized a little group, we can maybe get together. If anyone has any details, or if we can make this happen, let me know. I've only been to D.C. twice, so I'm probably not the best organizer, but maybe we can get this ball rolling. Thanks!

I wish I could attend the rally this year. I organized the Denver 9-12 evening Tea Party last september and the whole day was just an amazing experience for all of us who participated.  If you have the time or the resources to go attend this event, it will be important to go.Jenny Hatch
