Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro interviewed Dr. Eithan Haim, the whistleblower for the bombshell story about secretive transgender surgeries for minors at the Texas Children’s Hospital, who was hit with targeted harassment by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice. As The Daily Wire reported, Haim said for him the story all started in September 2022, when he saw The Daily Wire’s investigation of Vanderbilt University’s transgender clinic, where so-called “gender-affirming” care for minors was described as a “big money maker” and irreversible treatments such as double mastectomies were being performed on children.” He then learned that the hospital where...

There isn’t much left in this regime to shock the consumer of news. We have grown accustomed to the daily cavalcade of assaults on American freedoms in the Federal Register. Both the autocrat-in-chief and his press secretary have mainstreamed the practice of lying about virtually every issue. They attempt to take both sides of foreign policy issues within the same speech, claiming to be supporters of Israel while supporting Hamas, claiming to be opposed to the risk of nuclear war while encouraging Iranian nuclear advancement. What is left to shock us, in such an environment? Well, sometime Friday, January 5,...

MADRID, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Spain's government proposed a nationwide mandate for people to wear masks in hospitals and health clinics on Monday, and Italy said respiratory illness infection rates had hit a record, as flu and COVID spread across Europe. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control recommended that people on the continent stay home if they feel sick, and consider wearing masks in crowds or healthcare settings, with flu spreading as it typically does this time of year but hitting some countries harder than others. It said Europeans should follow national guidelines on vaccinating vulnerable groups. Flu...

When it was first reported on Saturday that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been in the hospital since January 1, it was natural to assume that key figures in the Pentagon and the White House, for whatever reason, chose to keep his hospitalization a secret. What possible motive could there be for doing this? Who knows? It didn't make a lot of sense, but the Biden administration has an extensive record of covering up scandals, so it wasn't exactly out of character for the Biden administration to cover something up. The truth that has been coming out over the course...

The Biden administration waited until Friday to announce that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had been hospitalized on Monday, a delay of several days that alarmed the Pentagon press corps. Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder provided a brief update on Austin in a statement that was released by the Department of Defense (DoD) at around 5 p.m., or the close of business, right as the weekend was getting underway for many in the country. “On the evening of January 1, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for complications following...

The head of a Gaza hospital has admitted to being a senior Hamas commander — and detailed how the terror group transformed the medical site into an operational hub that once housed a kidnapped Israeli soldier. Ahmad Kahlot, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya, made his taped confession to the Israeli security service Shin Bet after his arrest during last week’s raid on the facility in northern Gaza. In a video of his interrogation released on X on Tuesday, Kahlot, dressed in an Israeli jail uniform and seated in front of Israel’s flag, said he joined Hamas in 2010...

It was published today that human rights organizations filed a petition several weeks ago against the IDF for forcing evacuation of patients from Kamal Eduan hospital, whose director, Ahmed Kahlot, was found to be a member of Hamas. In his interrogation in Israel, Kahlot said: "I was recruited to Hamas in 2010 at the rank of lieutenant colonel. There are employees in the hospital who are military operatives of Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam - doctors, nurses, paramedics, clerks, staff members." Greenzeig wrote that this is "a good opportunity to remember the petition of human rights doctors who received a call from...

The NHL and NHL Players’ Association are investigating a gap in protocol which resulted in Arizona Coyotes defenseman Juuso Valimaki lingering in a Dallas hospital for hours without care last month with a severe facial injury after taking a 93 mph slap shot to the mouth against the Stars. Valimaki, 25, was transported to a Dallas hospital by ambulance from American Airlines Center after an undeflected point shot from countryman Jani Hakanpaa drilled him in the face on Nov. 14. Sources told Daily Faceoff that Valimaki was dropped off in the emergency room, like any other patient, and left to...

During an interview with Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday’s “NBC Nightly News,” host Lester Holt stated that while Israel has produced video of weapons “it says were recovered at the al-Shifa hospital, video of what may be a tunnel” that “doesn’t necessarily point to a Hamas command and control center as Israel and the U.S. have maintained.” Holt asked, “Israel is showing video of weapons it says were recovered at the al-Shifa hospital, video of what may be a tunnel. But it’s clear that the evidence doesn’t necessarily point to a Hamas command and control center as Israel...

Israel said its forces were operating in and around Gaza's biggest hospital, a chief objective in its campaign to destroy Palestinian Hamas militants that the army says stored weapons and ran a command centre in tunnels beneath the buildings. Israeli troops forced their way into Al-Shifa Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday and spent the day deepening their search, the army said. An army video showed automatic weapons, grenades, ammunition and flak jackets it said were recovered from an undisclosed building within the complex. "The troops continue to search the hospital in a precise, intelligence-based, manner," Israeli army spokesperson...

IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari delivered an address to the media this evening (Monday) on the discovery of extensive terrorist infrastructure at the Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza. "I just got back from Gaza, where I joined an operation inside the Rantisi Children's Hospital," he began. "I went to the hospital with a video camera and personally documented more concrete evidence. The concrete evidence proves that Hamas uses hospitals as an instrument of war."
