A MAN is dead and several people have been injured in a multi-vehicle crash and explosion in Footscray. Police say a truck and several cars collided before an explosion went off at the corner of Barkly and Gordon streets in Footscray. Two sets of powerlines are down and windows were blown out in nearby homes.
