(AP) — A gunman with a rifle opened fire at an IHOP restaurant in Nevada's capital on Tuesday, wounding six people and himself and killing two uniformed National Guardsmen in a hail of gunfire during the morning breakfast hour, authorities and witnesses said. An official says three people are dead after a gunman opened fire at a Nevada IHOP restaurant, wounding himself and nine other people.

Authorities have identified the gunman in Tuesday morning massacre at the Carson City IHOP as local man, Eduardo Sencion. Three people have died, five have been identified as National Guards personnel. Sencion, 32, died soon after the massacre from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to officials 11 people total have been treated for gunshot wounds. The gunman worked in Carson City and lived in Lake Tahoe.
