If ever there were a “fake news” story, it’s this one.At a roundtable meeting on Wednesday about U.S. immigration policies, including California’s so-called “sanctuary law,” President Trump referred to “bad people” being deported from the United States as “animals,” sparking intense backlash from the everything-Trump-says-and-does-is-racist media.“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country,” Trump said. “You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at...

White House chief of staff John Kelly said in an interview set to air Saturday that the majority of people who enter the U.S. illegally do not “assimilate” easily into modern American society. “The vast majority of the people that move illegally into the United States are not bad people … but they’re also not people that would easily assimilate into the United States into our modern society,” Kelly told NPR.

The number of illegal border crossers in Canada will soon surpass the 25,000 Syrian refugees Canada accepted in 2016 There are so many Mounties needed to process illegal border crossings in rural Quebec that the federal government is now spending $250,000 to build an unofficial police station on the U.S. border. In Toronto last week, Mayor John Tory announced that the number of refugee claimants in the city’s shelter system has quadrupled from 459 per night in 2016 to an average of 2,351 in 2018. And at least one Quebec politician is calling for a border fence with the U.S....

Gabriela Hernandez and her two boys joined the "migrant caravan" of travelers across Mexico toward the United States, some hoping to cross the border. This is her story of the journey, compiled from multiple visits and interviews. She is late. Gabriela Hernandez has missed the caravan marching north. As she realizes her mistake, she also knows she can't let it go. She scrounges up enough coins to pay for a taxi. Not knowing exactly where the group is, they simply head north, asking along the way in the hope they will catch up with the group. The pregnant mother of...

The governor of Oregon says she'll resist any attempt by Donald Trump to deploy her state's National Guard detachment to protect America's southern border, and California's governor appears poised to follow suit. The president signed a proclamation on Wednesday that orders Defense Secretary James Mattis to 'request use of National Guard personnel to assist' with the Homeland Security Department's existing border patrol operations.

On Easter Sunday, President Trump heard about the thousands of illegal aliens who are marching through Mexico towards the U.S. border and, quite understandably, expressed his frustration with the development on Twitter by calling for congressional Republicans to act. Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release. Getting more dangerous. “Caravans†coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 1, 2018 ...Congress must immediately pass Border Legislation, use Nuclear Option if...

This was one of those great, clarifying moments. The agenda of the left has been laid bare. Forget about “Dreamers,” about “pathways to citizenship,” blah, blah, blah. It’s much — much — more extreme than that. The end game is this: the left wants illegals to be allowed to vote. Period. End of sentence. For proof, look no further than the statements on Tucker Carlson’s show this evening by Cesar Vargas, an illegal immigrant from Mexico who somehow has been allowed to become a member of the New York State Bar. Asked by Carlson whether illegal immigrants should be allowed...

We’re a nation of laws. We have federal immigration laws for a reason. The days of Ellis Island and Vito Corleone’s story are over. This is about ensuring people who come here arrive legally. It’s to make sure terrorists don’t have an open door into America. There is nothing racist about enforcing exiting immigration laws, but this is problematic for Democrats. Part of it is the party’s aversion to white people. Another aspect is that Democrats see millions in untapped voter potential with all the illegals that are here. They want open borders. They don’t want enforcement, and they certainly...

The Trump administration's aggressive immigration enforcement policies are causing widespread psychological distress among many Latino parents of adolescents, including not just undocumented mothers and fathers, but parents who are in the country legally and aren't at risk for deportation, according to a study published this month in the Journal of Adolescent Health.

Trump’s DOJ filed a lawsuit against California late Tuesday evening over their dangerous and unlawful sanctuary city policy being enforced by politicians such as Governor Jerry Brown. Speaking in Sacramento Wednesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions blasted California lawmakers for protecting illegal aliens in their ‘sanctuary cities.’ House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) immediately fired back at the Trump administration’s move to finally put an end to the insanity of sanctuary cities. The Democrats don’t even try to hide it anymore. They openly fight for the invaders who are leeching, killing and raping American citizens. Pelosi tweeted: “The people of California...

In a development that’s reflective of the widening chasm of viewpoints on the treatment of illegal aliens in America, a big city mayor, Oakland’s Libby Schaaf, issued a public warning of impending Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) immigration sweeps. The arrests went forward anyway, netting more than 150, including several wanted for serious and violent crimes. Acting ICE boss Tom Homan wasted no time in calling the mayor the equivalent of a gang lookout and pointing to the difficulties ICE faces in “sanctuary” jurisdictions like Oakland and San Francisco, saying, “Because these jurisdictions prevent ICE from arresting criminal aliens in the...

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Travis County Sheriff’s Office deputies do not have rifle-resistance vests because Sheriff Sally Hernandez will not commit to hold all arrested undocumented immigrants for deportation. In January, Governor Abbott announced the state would fund $23 million in grants to purchase 33,000 vests for more than 450 law enforcement departments. Every agency that applied for vests received them. Travis County did not apply for the grant because one condition from the governor’s office required the agency to “sign a letter confirming compliance with ICE detainer requests both now and during the grant term of at least one year,”...

My Congressman Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) hosted another error-ridden town hall in Hermosa Beach last week. On immigration, he claimed to support two parts of President Trump’s proposed(?) plan: granting legal status to 1.8 million young illegals; and enhancing border security (although Lieu called the border wall “stupid”). He differed on ending chain migration and the diversity lottery. He quoted the Bible in his defense: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” (Matthew 25:35).My response: “Then take them...

Former President George W. Bush was supportive of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program Thursday, as he told an audience at a summit in Abu Dhabi that the U.S. needs to “welcome” them. Beyond that, he said at the summit hosted by the Milken Institute, a California-based economic think tank, that Americans should be thanking the illegal immigrants for doing jobs they refuse to do. "Americans don’t want to pick cotton at 105 degrees, but there are people who want put food on their family’s tables and are willing to do that,” he said, according to The Associated...

According to Indiana State Police, Manuel Orrego-Savala, the man suspected of killing Colts player Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver Jeffrey Monroe, is a twice-deported illegal immigrant from Guatemala. Police say that Orrego-Savala was driving drunk when he caused the fatal accident on Sunday morning. Earlier today, local news station CBS 4 provided details of the circumstances of the deadly incident: Police believe Monroe was working as an Uber driver and Jackson was his passenger. At some point Jackson became sick, so Monroe pulled over on the side of I-70 just west of Holt Road shortly before 4 a.m. They were...

Buckle Up!Late Tuesday, the President’s State of the Union address and Democratic response were completed around 11:00 p.m. Eastern, but MSNBC kept it going live until 2:00 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday. While it’s doubtful you stayed up to watch, you missed some mind-numbingly stupid quotes. Whether it’s suggesting Trump has committed treason or ghoulishly laughing about people fearing MS-13 gang violence, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, Joy Reid, and Ron Reagan succeeded in stooping to the lowest of lows. So, here they are (presented in chronological order): 1. Matthews Questions Trump Honoring Families of MS-13 Victims

President Donald J. Trump returned to Twitter today in typical fashion after a quick trip overseas for the World Economic Forum. President Trump jumped right back into the debate over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA), accusing Democrats of not actually wanting to solve the problem. I have offered DACA a wonderful deal, including a doubling in the number of recipients & a twelve year pathway to citizenship, for two reasons: (1) Because the Republicans want to fix a long time terrible problem. (2) To show that Democrats do not want to solve DACA, only use it!— Donald...

Fairfax County, Virginia Sheriff Stacey Kincaid’s announcement she would cancel an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to honor “detainers” for illegal alien criminals and arrestees has prompted pro-American immigration reformers to condemn the move for turning Fairfax into a “sanctuary county.” In the affluent suburban Washington, DC county, criminals and arrestees who ICE believes are illegal aliens subject to deportation will no longer be held for up to 48 after their release date so federal agents can pick them up. Virginia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Corey Stewart, who led an effort to force jails to report illegal...

If I’d told you 2 years ago journalists would scramble to “report” on the allegation President Donald Trump wanted to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller seven months ago like it A) just happened, and B) actually happened (as in he was fired), you would’ve thought I was lying to you. But it’s all too real, and someone will likely win a journalism award for it. But in an age of frantic reporting over rumors, lies, and non-stories, the pearl-clutching class chose a faux-scandal over some real news – that the White House is open to selling out on immigration. Oh,...

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO) announced Friday afternoon that they arrested 86 criminal aliens and other illegal immigrants during a three-day enforcement action operation earlier this week. Federal officers targeted “criminal aliens” in North Texas and Oklahoma, but arrested other immigration violators, such as those who came into the country legally and overstayed their permission or immigrants who committed criminal acts that would make them eligible for deportation. The press release states that “of the 86 arrested, 55 had criminal convictions; 82 were men and four were women. They range in age from 19 to 61 years...
