<p>"Were our State a pure democracy . . . there would yet be excluded from their deliberations . . . women, who, to prevent depravation of morals and ambiguity of issue, should not mix promiscuously in the public meetings of men." Letter from Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval (Sept. 5, 1816), in 10 Writings of Thomas Jefferson 45-46, n. 1 (P. Ford ed. 1899).</p>

I am ashamed of how Americans treat the homeless and the needy in their urban cities and how this website denigrates the poor and less fortunate. You people are the richest country on earth and you will not even give out a scrap to those who are on the streets begging for a living! They need jobs, they need to feed their families, and you won't even help out shame on you! The Bible says that God will judge the nations that forget the poor! You wont be rich forever, these poor ones will go to heaven and you'll go...

<p>I often hear Rush and other conservatives talk about seminars that liberals can attend to be instructed on how to call conservative talk shows, post on conservative websites, etc. The problem is that I have never seen such a seminar. No other liberal I know seems to know how to find one either. So I am thinking that maybe you are the ones to ask about them.</p>

To: Fox News et al This morning, I turned on TV briefly (to catch the weather report, since we really need rain here in Tennessee) and I heard you discussing the self-outing of "Deep Throat" yesterday. At the end of your on-air discussion, you said, "If there's another Deep Throat out there, give us a call, won't you. We're waiting for your call." Yeah, bullsh*t. For the past eight months, thousands of people have been sending you information on the 2004 stolen election and you've been ignoring it like a burning herpes sore on your anus when your wife asks...

Suicide attacks outpaced car bombings almost 2-to-1 in May, according to figures compiled by the U.S. military, The Times and other media outlets. In April, there were 69 suicide attacks, more than in the entire year preceding the June 28, 2004, hand-over of sovereignty. U.S. officials and Iraqi analysts say the insurgents' resources are increasing on several fronts: money to buy vehicles and explosives, expertise in wiring car and human bombs and intelligence leaks that help them target U.S. and Iraqi forces. Coalition officials acknowledge, however, that the numbers show an Iraqi-dominated insurgency. Fewer than 5% of those killed or...

"The only person there at the time was a man in a black ski mask, trying to set up a sound system he never did get to work." In addition to the ski mask pulled down to conceal his face, the man wore an athletic shirt displaying the word "CUBA" and a white headband over his ski mask with the word "PEACE" scrawled on it. "We were a little taken aback," relates Cothran. "He looked like a terrorist." If the manner and appearance of this lone protest leader weren't disconcerting enough, the signs he displayed gave additional pause. "Abortion Isn't...
