CNN’s media correspondent Brian Stelter continued to run cover for NPR on Sunday, devoting only two minutes on his show to the now-infamous mask report that has been refuted by three Supreme Court justices. Last week, the left-wing anchor's newsletter praised NPR legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg as "incredibly well-sourced" after she reported Chief Justice John Roberts "in some form" asked the justices to wear masks because of the omicron surge since Justice Sonia Sotomayor has diabetes, and Justice Neil Gorsuch refused.

CNN’s Reliable Sources anchor Brian Stelter slobbered over the leftist website ratings firm NewsGuard as some sort of paragon of journalistic virtue. Stelter fawned in a Jan. 16 blog how NewsGuard announced that its business was “reliable enough to turn a profit.” But here was the senseless part: “Although there are many quibbles with specific rulings about certain sites, the results are directionally reliable, distinguishing global newsrooms that try to report fairly from fly-by-night sites that publish propaganda with no regard for reality.” Nope. A recent study by MRC revealed that NewsGuard’s ratings system, which scores websites on a zero...

Ex-NY Times journalist warns of corporate wokeness in media industry: 'What happens is a kind of internal self-censorship' Former New York Times journalist Bari Weiss confronted CNN’s Brian Stelter about his network’s coverage of the COVID-19 lab leak theory when listing examples of why the world has gone mad "Where can I start? Well, when you have the chief reporter on the beat of COVID for The NY Times talking about how questioning or pursuing the question of the lab leak is racist, the world has gone mad. When you're not able to say out loud and in public there...

CNN anchor Brian Stelter said Sunday on his show “Reliable Sources” that former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace’s departure “speaks volumes” about Fox News’ increasing radicalism. Stelter said, “This is a shock to the TV news business. Chris Wallace is one of the journalists that is at Fox who stands out like a sore thumb because the network has become more and more radicalized, both in the Trump years and now in the Biden years.”

Chris Cuomo could return to CNN as early as next month following his suspension for secretly helping his brother, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, try to counter the sexual harassment scandal that made him quit, the network’s chief media correspondent predicted. During an appearance on CNN’s “New Day” program Wednesday, Brian Stelter said it was a “complicated situation” because despite widespread outrage, “a lot of viewers … love Chris Cuomo and they want to see him back on the air.” “I think the bottom line is, [Chris] Cuomo is on the bench for now,” he said.

No one can be surprised that when Democrats lose elections (and almost lose elections that "weren't supposed to be close"), the liberals blame an infernal "right-wing media machine." That's what Brian Stelter did in his "Reliable Sources" podcast on Nov. 4. Stelter turned to professor Brian Rosenwald, author of "Talk Radio's America: How An Industry Took Over a Political Party That Took Over the United States." What listeners heard was a lot of lame theorizing and very few specifics. To process Democrats losing the governor's race in Virginia, Stelter quoted from leftist Washington Post blogger Greg Sargent that while Republican...

As mentioned earlier, Fox News is recognizing its 25th anniversary today, a success story no matter how you look at it. The network was built from scratch, had all manner of competitive obstacles placed in front, and has been the focus of wrath from many in the media. All they have done is gradually become a market force, an industry leader, and a political influencer. And Brian Stelter cannot take it. While there are many in the press delivering various degrees of veiled praise and outright scorn for the network today, Stelter’s ode to Fox is the most revealing. He...

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CBS’ “Late Show,” CNN Chief Media Correspondent and host Brian Stelter said CNN covered the scandal around New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) “just the same we would any other story.” And “Ultimately, isn’t that what matters?” Stelter acknowledged that CNN telling Chris Cuomo he couldn’t cover his brother once Gov. Cuomo got into trouble after letting Chris Cuomo interview his brother earlier is “an odd conflict. But I don’t think if we open the journalism ethics book, there’s no page for this. … This was definitely awkward for CNN, though.”

CNN host Brian Stelter was mercilessly trashed on his own CNN show on Sunday by his guest, author Michael Wolff. The author was on the cable TV show "Reliable Sources" to promote his latest book about former President Donald Trump, but ended up slamming the corporate media and Stelter for being in "its own bubble."

No one can compete with CNN in its complete lack of self-awareness of what it is: a talking-points network for Democrats, and the media’s loudest voice for removing Fox News from your cable TV. At 10:55 pm, Brian Stelter e-mailed out their latest "Reliable Sources" propaganda sheet under the headline “Have you no shame?” It was a quote of their hero President Biden. Stelter began: "Make no mistake," President Biden said Tuesday, "bullies and merchants of fear, peddlers of lies, are threatening the very foundation of our country." Biden's dire warning -- part of his address about an ongoing assault...

CNN's Brian Stelter's ratings continue to plummet after his Father's Day episode of 'Reliable Sources' drew only 656,000 viewers in his least-watched showing of 2021. It marks the the 12th consecutive week Stelter's show failed to hit one million views. In comparison, Fox News, which Stelter has been critical of, airs 'MediaBuzz' during Stelter's direct timeslot. That show averages 1.14 million viewers to top 'Reliable Sources' by 74 percent, Fox News reported.

CNN anchor Brian Stelter said Sunday on his show “Reliable Sources” that the news media is nationalizing outrage to the point that it is “almost paragraphic.” Time magazine columnist David French said, “What’s really important to understand is we live in something called negative partisanship. That means people are Republicans not so much because they love Republican ideas but because they dislike Democrats. People are Democrats not because they like the ideals but because they don’t like Republicans. There is a market for justification of that animosity. In other words, if I’m on Twitter, at any moment, there’s always somebody...

NEW YORK (AP) — For all the potential peril of a workplace romance, the most common source of trouble, experts say, is allowing it to remain a secret. A case in point was this week’s abrupt ouster of longtime CNN chief executive Jeff Zucker, who said he was ’’wrong” in not being upfront with the network about a consensual relationship he was having with another executive. Zucker is hardly alone in finding love at the office. About a third of U.S. workers say they are in a workplace relationship or have been in one — and the trend has been...

Chris Wallace is “irate” at the ousting of CNN president Jeff Zucker and his future at the news network is uncertain, Radar has been told. In a move that stunned Beltway television circles, the no-nonsense veteran anchor — son of legendary CBS correspondent Mike Wallace — announced he was leaving Fox News after 18 years for a prized gig at CNN’s new streaming-video outlet CNN+ in December. At the time, the former Fox News Sunday anchor specifically cited Zucker as one of the reasons he joined the network. “I am honored and delighted to join Jeff Zucker and his great...

She doesn't know precisely why CNN boss Jeff Zucker was forced out, but Washington Post columnist Margaret Sullivan wrote on Friday that "Jeff Zucker’s legacy is defined by his promotion of Donald Trump." All of CNN's horror-movie coverage was never enough.

CNN's top talents slammed the top boss of the network's parent company over the ousting of president Jeff Zucker during an explosive meeting Wednesday and demanded to know whether or not he'd consulted anyone in the decision. Anchor Jake Tapper demanded WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar address the 'perception' that Zucker lost his job by refusing to pay 'terrorist' Chris Cuomo the $18million remaining on his contract. 'The perception that Chris Cuomo gets fired by CNN. Chris Cuomo hires a high-powered lawyer who has a scorched-earth policy, who then makes it very clear to the world that unless Jeff gives Chris...

CNN's left-wing bias may become a thing of the past when it is spun off to Discovery later this year, with the largest shareholder of the network's new owners eager to restore it to impartiality. John Malone, a billionaire Trump donor, is the CEO of Liberty Media, Discovery's largest shareholder. He retains a 25 percent voting share in Discovery, which will take control of WarnerMedia and its assets - including CNN - later this year. With Jeff Zucker gone, that seems more likely than ever. It's unclear which political direction Discovery CEO David Zaslav wants to take the network in....

Research from the Center for Work-Life Policy shows mid-level, professional women need powerful, senior executives to help promote them to the next level of management. In that same CWLP study, 34% of executive women claim they know a female colleague who has had an affair with a boss. Furthermore, 15% of women at the director level or above admitted to having affairs themselves. And worse, 37% claim the action was rewarded: they said that women involved in affairs received a career boost as a result. Meanwhile, all this hanky-panky is really screwing the rest of us, says Slyvia Ann Hewlett...
