Gov. Kathy Hochul was asked to leave the wake for slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller on Friday afternoon. Hochul arrived at the Massapequa Funeral Home on Long Island for the second day of viewings around 1:45 p.m. She was only in the venue for about 10 minutes before she was asked to leave, law enforcement sources told The Post. On her way to her car, the governor appeared to be confronted by a man in a black suit, who gestured while speaking intensely. Several cops waiting outside the funeral home clapped as he walked away.

An attorney for one of former President Donald Trump's co-defendants in the Fulton County district attorney's 2020 election interference case admitted at a hearing Wednesday that he had shared witness proffer videos of key figures in the case with a media outlet, saying he thought it was in his client's interest to do so. Jonathan Miller, an attorney for Misty Hampton, made the confession during an emergency hearing for a protective order that was prompted by the publication of parts of the video statements of Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro and Scott Hall by ABC News and The Washington...

A Washington-based GOP organization has quietly pumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into a special account that it established specifically to help win a special election in Kentucky's 6th District. The group is ready to transfer the cash to...

Chandler cites GOP's money edge SAYS HE MIGHT RUN TO SUCCEED FLETCHER IN THE U.S. HOUSE By Charles Wolfe ASSOCIATED PRESS FRANKFORT - Ben Chandler said yesterday that his campaign for governor was overwhelmed by Republican money and handicapped by the Democratic Party's lack of a compelling message. In addition, President Bush's visit to Kentucky generated a bigger turnout in Republican strongholds and Gov.-elect Ernie Fletcher "didn't make any serious mistakes," Chandler said. In an interview with The Associated Press, Chandler also held out the possibility of running to succeed Fletcher in the U.S. House but not for the U.S....

Northern Kentucky Republican Trey Grayson has raised more money than all three Democrats running for secretary of state in the most recent campaign finance period, according to reports released on Thursday. Grayson, however, still trails Democrat Russ Maple, a Jefferson County insurance executive seeking the office, by more than $200,000 in total contributions. Kenton County Commissioner Adam Koenig, a Republican running for state treasurer, is looking at an even larger gap between himself and his opponent. Democratic incumbent Jonathan Miller has raised a total of $401,007.70, to Koenig's $11,175. Grayson, of Fort Mitchell, and Koenig, who lives in Villa Hills,...
