Americans see more political bias in news than ever, and nearly seven-in-10 blame media owners for influencing the ways stories are reported, according to the latest failing report card on the nation’s news business. Executives from several television networks held a conference call on Monday to discuss Donald Trump's campaign treatment of the press, but no immediate action is expected to come from the first call, sources familiar with the call told POLITICO. Another call is scheduled for this afternoon. An “off-the-record” private discussion group for left-wing journalists, similar to the controversial “JournoList” cabal, has been discovered.
