There is no “apology.” So I’m not sure why Mediaite headlines its latest Joy Behar video, “Joy Behar Apologizes For Calling Sharron Angle ‘Bitch;’ Says It’s ‘A Term Of Endearment.’ In fact, the non-”apology” shows that in addition to being a foul-mouthed, spewing shrew, Behar is also an inveterate coward who won’t take responsibility for her words:

Once upon a time, charging political opponents with Nazism was-off limits. After I reported last night that the Sharron Angle campaign had had a banner day fundraising, which the campaign attributed to the fact that The View co-host Joy Behar said of Angle on national television, “She’s going to hell, this bitch!” This morning, the Angle campaign tells me they sent flowers and a thank you note to Behar: Joy, Raised 150K online yesterday– thanks for your help. During the president's recent appearance on the televised female coffee klatch, The View, he suggested that Joy Behar become the "attack dog" she said he needed to fight back against conservatives.  And Ms. Behar seems to have taken the idea to heart. When the producers played a Sharon Angle ad, which made moral mincemeat out of Harry Reid's illegal immigration enabling positions, Ms. Behar responded with attack-dog fury.  Behaving as the uncivil shrew that she has more and more lately become, Ms. Behar responded to the Angle ad by declaring the candidate a "bitch" who was surely "going to hell."...

Yesterday, The View’s Joy Behar said “She’s [Sharron Angle] going to hell, this bitch!” Behar also compared Angle’s latest ad to a “Hitler Youth” commercial. So today, Angle sent Behar flowers, with a note thanking Behar for helping her raise $150,000 online yesterday. Via Mediaite, a mundane clip in some ways and a noteworthy one in another.
