Tough to watch as four guys walk up to a man as he’s leaving a convenience store in the Klein area and attack him. KPRC-TV spoke to the victim identified as “Mason”, he says it happened on Sunday evening when he was in the store about to pay for his items when the group walked up to the counter and tried to cut in line. He says he told them "there's a line for a reason." The surveillance footage then shows the group waiting outside for Mason and then confronting him as he appears. First, he’s sucker-punched by one of...

Why did Rush move to KPRC in Houston this morning?

But Miles' mother has claimed her 30-year-old son cannot have carried out the killing because they were out on a shopping trip together when the shooting unfolded. She is quoted by KPRC as saying: 'We got back, we couldn't get on our street. So after we couldn't get on our street, when we came back, the back way to our house and then that's when we (were) faced with SWAT and dogs and cops and guns and they handcuffed him.'

The host of KPFT's (90.1 FM) "Prison Show" has resigned, citing the Pacifica Radio station's decision to prohibit him from using former talk show host and convicted felon Jon Matthews as his co-host. David Babb, who has hosted the Friday night show since January 2011, said the station is sending the wrong message by not allowing Matthews, who was a prominent, conservative-leaning host on KPRC (950 AM) and KSEV (700 AM) prior to his 2004 guilty plea to charges of indecency with a child, to appear with him on KPFT.

This morning on the 950KPRC Pat Grey Show, Pat Grey and Ken Charles contacted Gene Green and asked him retract and apologize for what he said in that letter he sent. The reason was that he admitted that he took out of context what was said from both Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh. He had not listen to all the show and he was only going by an AP report he had. He also admitted to saying that if Rush and Michel would have been talking about Bush, that is what Pat Grey was referring to on the 2 examples...

I was shocked to learn of your actions and read your comments in an Associated Press article "KPRC Gives Rather's Radio Show the Boot" filed September 28, 2004. Apparently, KPRC makes programming decisions based on a political agenda, rather than on ratings or broadcasting standards. (Green provides examples of factual errors from other programs like Savage and Limbaugh Mr. Ken Charles Director of Operations/Programming Clear Channel Communications 510 Lovett Blvd. Houston, Texas 77006 Dear Mr. Charles: I was shocked to learn of your actions and read your comments in an Associated Press article “KPRC Gives Rather's Radio Show the Boot”...

Ken Charles, the Station Manager for 950KPRC in Houston (the largest talk station in Houston) just sent the CBS News VP all his nasty e-mails and told them that CBS will either fire Dan Rather by Monday and come completely clean on the matter or he will take CBS News off the air of his radio stations (he manages two of the largest in Houston).

WHEN you work for a newspaper, you get used to it. "Your paper is too liberal." "Your paper is too conservative." "It's too this." "It's too that." Then there was the phone call I got last week from Mike Papantonio, a talk host on the Air America Radio network — the liberal answer to Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk radio. He wanted to know why we didn't cover a story — even though we did. Air America has 15 stations across the country, but none in Houston. You can hear it on Sirius and XM Satellite Radio, however. Papantonio challenged...

Memorial Day is not just another holiday that falls on Monday. On this day, we remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. We also remember those who are currently defending same. Despite all the bad news being shown in the media, there is also much good going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, only the media (or most of them) won't tell you. Many of you remember (and attended) the numerous Rallies for America held last year. Radio station KPRC decided to hold another rally today. This rally was at the same location as the previous Houston rally...

It seems a lot of people, Freepers and just ordinary Americans alike, are sick and tired of the lies and propaganda that the anti-American crowd has been forcing down the throats of the American people. In a rally earlier today at Jones Plaza, located in downtown Houston, TX, a crowd estimated at over 10,000 people showed their appreciation for their President, their freedom, and the brave people (i.e. the military) that protect it. Before I begin the rally recap, special kudos to talk radio station KPRC (950-AM) for organizing and sponsoring this rally; in less than two weeks, they lined...
