House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) appears to have misrepresented impeachment evidence that was used during the House Democrats’ impeachment investigation, according to a report from Tuesday evening. According to documents obtained by Politico, text messages between Lev Parnas and Rudy Giuliani were "mischaracterized" by Schiff in a letter sent to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler last week. "In one section of the letter, Schiff claims that Parnas 'continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,' citing a specific text message exchange where Parnas tells Giuliani: 'trying to get us mr Z.' The remainder of the exchange —...

A Russian oligarch has been charged with allegedly paying $1 million to Rudy Giuliani associates Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas as part of a scheme to influence the 2018 US elections through illegal straw donations, prosecutors announced Monday. Andrey Muraviev, 47, was charged with conspiring with Fruman, Parnas and Andrey Kukushkin to pay US politicians illegal donations in order to help them secure licenses to start a legal marijuana business.

A House committee investigating potential surveillance of former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch is struggling to get records and text messages from Robert Hyde, the GOP congressional candidate who claimed to have her under surveillance, according to emails obtained by NBC News. Hyde, in response, is accusing the House Foreign Affairs Committee of “trying to set me up.” The Foreign Affairs Committee announced in mid-January it would investigate text messages that emerged in the impeachment investigation that showed Hyde provided detailed information about Yovanovitch’s purported whereabouts in Kyiv to Lev Parnas, an indicted associate of Rudy Giuliani. Hyde has said...

Rudy Giuliani’s indicted business associate Lev Parnas accused Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) of being “in the loop” on the scheme to pressure Ukraine to launch an investigation into unfounded accusations against former Vice President Joe Biden, a leading Democratic presidential candidate. Parnas, a Florida businessman who had donated to President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, said he was “1 million percent” certain that Graham was aware of the Ukraine operation. “Rudy told me not once but on several occasions that he spoke to Lindsey Graham about the situation, that Lindsey was always aware,” he told Anderson Cooper in a CNN interview...

Lev Parnas, the former Rudy Giuliani associate who has been thrust into the center of Congress’s impeachment proceedings, got a ticket to attend the Senate’s trial on Wednesday but won’t be able to attend due to his ankle bracelet, his lawyer said. Joseph Bondy, Parnas’s attorney, said his client had received tickets to attend Wednesday’s proceedings from Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.). Schumer’s office confirmed it offered the tickets. “Although we couldn’t arrange to have Lev Parnas watch the trial with us because his GPS ankle monitor is not allowed, Lev will join us in DC tomorrow to show...

Lev Parnas, who has been federally indicted for fraud, is being held up as a legitimate witness this week by Democrats on Capitol Hill desperately trying to impeach President Trump. Why? Because Parnas, who President Trump called a "groupie" and has been accused of buying his way into Trump world as a grifter, has suddenly changed his opinion. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has taken note and invited Parnas to be his guest in the Senate today. Electronics of any kind are banned from the chamber, which has created an issue. The MSM released the full 90-minute tape of the President’s ‘meeting’ at the Trump Hotel with Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman in attendance. The video is not of a meeting as the MSM portrayed it. It’s a casual, private dinner with light conversation. In fact, it’s amazingly uneventful. The President listened, asked questions, and joked. This appears to be a fundraiser with donors. It’s harmless and Trump didn’t say anything he doesn’t always say. He didn’t even know what business all these people are in and had to ask during the conversations. He might well not remember Parnas and Fruman....

Rep. Adam B. Schiff is promoting a new anti-Trump witness whose public allegations have been met with vehement denials and at least one lawsuit. Lev Parnas and his attorney have been lobbying to become a star Schiff impeachment witness in a Senate trial as part of the congressman’s drive to remove President Trump from office. Mr. Schiff, California Democrat and chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, injected Mr. Parnas last week into the impeachment record. He and other Democrats released two troves of Parnas downloads from his various electronic devices including texts, emails and photos of himself...

One hates to think that the reason Nancy Pelosi delayed delivery of the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate for trial was that her order for commemorative pens hadn’t come in yet. What’s a somber occasion like an impeachment without a commemorative pen? Don’t forget to pose for pictures with a smiling Pelosi on the way to the after party, And for a mere $19.99 donation to the DNC you can get a framed copy of the gibberish convicted Lev Parnas scribbled on a hotel notepad, part of the “additional evidence” in the smoke-and-mirrors drama Democrats hope to make into...

Despite a warning from Lev Parnas, President Trump claimed not to know him again Thursday. "I don't know Parnas, other than I guess I had pictures taken, which I do with thousands of people," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "I don't know him at all, don't know what he's about, don't know where he comes from, know nothing about him. ... I don't believe I've ever spoken to him." Jospeh Bondy, Parnas' lawyer, brought the receipts, posting a video taken at Mar-a-Lago in December 2016, where Trump is clearly talking with Parnas, who is standing next to him...

Do Democrats really care about the getting to the bottom of the allegations against Trump, or do they just want a show trial? With President TrumpÂ’s impeachment trial set to begin next week, the Senate faces a stark choice: it can hold a legitimate trial that aims to get to the bottom of the allegations against the president, or it can stage an empty media spectacle like House Democrats did in their sham impeachment inquiry. The problem for Democrats is that if Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell opts for the former, it will mean calling not just the witnesses Democrats want,...

The Justice Department flatly rejected allegations by Lev Parnas, an indicted associate of Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, that Attorney General William Barr was "absolutely" involved in a Ukraine scheme now at the center of impeachment. "100% false," DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec told the Washington Examiner in the same two-word statement which MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, who conducted an interview with Parnas on Wednesday, read live on air. Parnas, 47, along with another Giuliani associate, Igor Fruman, was charged over an alleged scheme to funnel foreign money to Republican politicians. House Democrats began releasing a trove of texts and documents Tuesday...

The next name that is going to be on the lips of every pundit and talking head in Washington, D.C., is Lev Parnas, who went on the Rachel Maddow Show Wednesday night to allege that he was sent to Ukraine at the behest of Rudy Guiliani and President Trump to dig up dirt on the Bidens. This interview came on the very same day the impeachment articles were delivered to the Senate, and if you think that was an accident, I have a bridge to sell you. This is the October surprise delivered in January that everyone should have seen...

Well, this could get interesting.MSNBC is teasing an interview tonight with Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas tonight at 9PM Eastern. After initially saying he...

Yesterday’s ridiculous, albeit proactive, New York Times narrative about Russians hacking Burisma now makes sense. Today the Lawfare team (Mary McCord et al) within Adam Schiff’s impeachment crew send additional files of evidence (pdf below) to be included in the impeachment articles constructed by HJC Chairman Jerry Nadler. It is all coordinated. The “new evidence” relates to information turned over by Lev Parnas, an SDNY indicted former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani. The Lawfare purpose is to bolster their premise that President Trump was trying to force Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden’s corrupt activity around...
