A family who survived the Las Vegas massacre spoke highly of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, calling the Trumps real human beings who are sympathetic and caring. Steve Melanson was at the concert with his daughters Stephanie and Paige along with their mother Rose-Marie, who was shot and is currently recovering. “They’re real people. He’s a real human. She’s a real human,” Stephanie praised the Trumps on CNN’s “New Day” Friday.”They had a heart. They were caring. They were sympathetic. They had a listening ear. He sends his condolences.” WATCH: (VIDEO-AT-LINK) Melania ran over to hug the...

The Islamic State continued insisting that they have a connection to Sunday night's massacre in Las Vegas with the publication of an infographic about the crime filling the second page of their 16-page weekly newsletter. Today's release marks the 100th issue of al-Naba, which is distributed in ISIS territories and online via mediums such as Telegram and social media as a PDF. ISIS claimed through their Amaq news agency Monday morning that the "Las Vegas attacker is a soldier of the Islamic State who carried out the attack in response to calls for targeting coalition countries." They claimed he had...

Tiffany Huizar was shot in the stomach and elbow during the Las Vegas massacre on Sunday, Oct. 1, in which 58 people were killed and hundreds injured. She was rushed to a hospital where doctors performed a surgery to remove the bullet the next morning. On Wednesday, Oct. 4, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were at Huizar’s bedside. She said she was surprised at how nice the president was—a far different picture from what she was shown on social media. “He was super nice. He wasn’t who we see on social media,” she said. “He was much...

You have to give Michael Moore this much, he says what many progressives are thinking but are afraid to vocalize. In this case, he’s not calling for the return of the assault weapon ban, he’s calling for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment: I, Michael Moore, along with all who support an end to this epidemic of gun violence, propose a new Amendment to our Constitution that repeals the ancient and outdated 2nd Amendment (which was written before bullets and revolvers were even invented), and replaces it with a new 28th Amendment that guarantees States can have State militias (a.k.a....

LAS VEGAS — The video poker machines that Stephen Paddock liked were the ones that did not draw attention. They had few look-at-me flashing lights or listen-to-me bells. He would sit in front of them for hours, often wagering more than $100 a hand. The way he played — instinctually, decisively, calculatingly, silently, with little movement beyond his shifting eyes and nimble fingers — meant he could play several hundred hands an hour. Casino hosts knew him well. “Not a lot of smiles and friendliness,” said John Weinreich, who was an executive casino host at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa...

Investigators are taking a harder look at Marilou Danley and what she might have known about the attack at a country music festival Sunday, with Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo naming her a “person of interest” and saying the FBI is bringing her back to the U.S. for questioning. Danley, 62, was out the country at the time of the shooting and in the Philippines on Tuesday. “We anticipate some information from her shortly,” Lombardo said.

Marilou Danley, the live-in girlfriend of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock, and now a "person of interest" in the shooting investigation, is a Philippines native who has used two Social Security numbers during her two-plus decades in the United States, and was married to two men at the same time, public records show. The person who may hold the key to solving the mystery of why the Vegas gunman killed 59 and wounded nearly 600 people led a convoluted life of her own, with two simultaneous husbands, a bankruptcy, two Social Security numbers, multiple addresses in several states and even...

Evil has visited Las Vegas and in its grasp, thousands of lives have been altered and torn apart. America’s worst mass shooting has shocked a city and a nation and the burning pain will be felt for generations. How one man, one sick minded heartless sociopath could inflict such pain on so many is quite literally beyond belief. His bullets have pierced the bodies of so many and the souls of so many more. But while the pain and torment from the vicious and cruel attack may have shocked us to our core, one group of men and women have...

ISIS claimed credit for the attack in Las Vegas Monday, however, an FBI agent involved in the investigation said there is no evidence of a connection to terrorism at this point. NY Times correspondent Rukmini Callimachi says it’s not true that ISIS claims responsibility for every attack, but she has her doubts about the accuracy of this claim: See Also: Pew: Media coverage of Trump through first 60 days vastly more negative than last three presidents (TWEETS-AT-LINK)Rita Katz, Director of SITE Intelligence Group, also has a thread on the ISIS claim. She says ISIS is doubling down on this claim...

Hillary Clinton criticized the National Riffle Association on Monday morning while offering her condolences to the victims of a mass shooting in Las Vegas this weekend that left at least 50 people dead and more than 400 people injured. “Our grief isn’t enough,” the former Democratic Party presidential candidate tweeted. “We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.” Clinton’s statement was one of the most politically charged among prominent politicians who weighed in on social media in the hours after the attack. She writes in...

This morning, the Islamic State’s semi-official news agency, Amaq, took credit for the Las Vegas massacre, which killed 58 and wounded another 515. The likely killer, identified by police as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada, was not known to be a supporter of the Islamic State, or indeed a Muslim of any type. For now, the only evidence that the Islamic State was involved is its own assurance—first a press release announcing that a “soldier of the Islamic State” executed the concertgoers, and a follow-up for the baffled, explaining that he converted to Islam months ago. The FBI has...

Journalists and commentators on Monday immediately praised President Donald Trump’s standard response to Sunday night’s mass shooting as “presidential,” lauding his ability to tweet his sympathies and read measured remarks from a teleprompter. After Trump refrained from his usual early morning Twitter tirades by offering his “warmest condolences and sympathies” to the victims and their families, CNN’s John King praised Trump for managing to be “low key,” noting that he often does not wait for the facts before commenting on tragic situations. “He has been very low key about this one, very presidential, if you will,” King said, while awaiting...

Sunday’s Las Vegas shooting has so far left over 50 dead and more than 500 injured, marking this as the most deadly shooting in modern history. However, according to a CBS legal executive, these victims had it coming. As first reported by the Daily Caller, Hayley Geftman-Gold, a top legal executive at CBS, posted on Facebook that attendees of the country music concert had it coming, since country music fans are often Republican gun owners. In Geftman-Gold’s post, she seemingly references Sandy Hook, which she blames on Republicans, and uses this as her reasoning that Jason Aldean fans deserved to...
