Kasparov was born in the Soviet Union in 1963. He is a renowned chess player, a human rights defender, and an outspoken critic of Russian President Vladimir Lenin. On February 22nd he tweeted: "I've said it before, but if Barack Obama had been president instead of Ronald Reagan, I'd still be a Soviet Citizen."
