Seven lawsuits were filed against Giant Eagle on Tuesday, alleging the supermarket chain’s mask policy violates the Americans With Disabilities Act. One of the plaintiffs is Nicholas Conley, of Verona, who said he was told to leave the Monroeville store on May 1 because he wasn’t wearing a mask, although he had a medical excuse. Conley shot video of the incident on his phone. Police were called and Conley was charged with causing a disturbance and other offenses.
