LINCOLN, Neb. - The defendant in a state senator's lawsuit is accused of causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more still. He can be sued in Douglas County, the legislator claims, because He's everywhere. State Sen. Ernie Chambers sued God last week. Angered by another lawsuit he considers frivolous, Chambers says he's trying to make the point that anybody can file a lawsuit against anybody. Chambers says in his lawsuit that God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than half of North Carolina military members surveyed in the latest Elon University poll disapprove of President Bush's handling of the war in Iraq and his overall job performance. Nearly 53 percent of military members said they strongly disapproved or disapproved of Bush's handling of his job. And just more than 56 percent of that same group strongly disapproved or disapproved of how he has dealt with the Iraq war. Overall, 53 percent of those surveyed for the poll released Friday did not approve of Bush's job performance, while 57 percent did not approve of his...

America is a nation on the decline because of our move away from God and religion and our love of secularism. Children are taught evil, immoral things in school such as how to put condoms on bananas and Darwin's theory of evolution. Mandatory prayer in public schools has been forced out, along with theology. These wonderful Biblical things have been replaced by an ungodly love of science and other anti-Christian, anti-moral subjects. Most of Europe has plunged itself into the depraved depths of Sodom and Gomorrah because of its secularism. America is well on its way to following them. But...

The coming economic crisis. Unemployment. Health care for the poor. The almost 1,500 dead soldiers. The almost 100,000 dead Iraqis. Armstrong Williams and Maggie Gallagher. The Christian Conservative takeover of our nation. The missing 9 billion. The missing weapons of mass destruction. The impending invasion of Iran, and Syria. The total failure to protect us on 9-11.

You and your fascist co-horts will all be sorry when the Bush* administration is charged with stealing this election. His administration and this website is nothing more then propaganda for a fascist regime. We are watching you, and we will be there when you slip up and your face down on the ground because you slipped on your own Nazi style propaganda. John Kerry won this election and you know it! Everyone knows it!

A candidate for state office in the great state of Washington appears headed for defeat even before the first absentee ballots are mailed in. (This is my first post on FreeRepublic, by the way, so bear with me if I make a few errors.) David Blomstrom is a candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction who issued a press release calling for the "legal or quasi-legal" execution of President George W. Bush. It was discussed in this thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1168765/posts Apparently, his actions were legal, as his sites are still online. But the website may outlive Blomstrom. Check his campaign website, at...

I'm a true American patriot who is a pro-American voter. Thus, I support John Kerry for president because I want America needs our country back: we're tired of having our national security weakened, our 1st Amendment disregarded by the American Taliban (i.e. religious right) and want to restore respect back to the White House after 4 years of a failed presidency. God Bless America and John Kerry, the man who real patriotic Americans support.

Hello, I'm new here. I saw an article about FReeping David Letterman, and I'm just curious as to what that is all about. I mean, how do you freep someone basically? Just get the contact info for them and fire off complaints? Do you do them in person? Do you go after unpopular individuals like bloggers and the like, or just after "popular" (I use that term to mean people who are generally well known) people? I don't know much about this, so basically just want to hear your thoughts on it.

This site makes reasonable conservatives look like Nazis. You people have no logic... "Goyette is anti-war, anti-Bush!" Nice leap there.

Bush has a fork in him. Look at the polls. You see them. What makes you think it's gonna get any better for the appointed one? Only the dedicated neo-cons support this clown. Your boy is toast. I hope you guys won't do anything rash after he loses horribly on November 2. President Kerry will make this country much better. Just keep that in mind and you'll be fine. Better yet, jump on the Kerry bandwagon and support a return to peace and prosperity. Come on guys, I'm on your side.

I am graduating with a masters tomorrow and I have yet to find a job. I have been looking for over a year and cant find one. My field is educational technology (curriculum design for corporations and businesses ie training). I have an idea, we could get every new college grad to send their resume to Bush demanding that he find them a job and flood the whitehouse with resumes of unemployed white collar workers then perhaps he will wake up and do something instead of spouting off about how there are jobs and he created them. I am trying...

Is anyone of the Democratic persuasion welcome here, or are you crazy Republicans going to kick me off? Do any of you know how freaking ridiculous things are getting with George Bush in office? Let's do the list: assaults the environment, rising unemployment, rising gas prices, rising hatred of us across the globe, a phony war with over 700 Americans dead, POW torture, overtime pay almost done away with.....the list goes on and on. It's CRAZY.

While the death tolls continue to mount and we spend billions on this illegal occupation crucial programs go unfunded and the deficit spirals out of control.

Democrats are in a tizzy over news that the economy grew 7.2 percent in the last quarter, the fastest such growth since 1984. "Oh, no!" was their secret, instant cry. "Does this mean we can't blast Bush on the economy anymore? And if so, what does that do to our 2004 prospects?" Let's stipulate right here that Republicans remain the market leaders when it comes to praying for bad news that is good news for them politically. (If I didn't say this, right-wing talk show hosts would seize on this column as proof that this liberal is revealing his party's...
