Two men are in jail, accused of robbing an Inver Grove Heights man and attacking him with a battle axe. Jacob Anhalt, 22, and Randy Knight, 31, are charged with burglary, aggravated robbery, and auto theft. According to the criminal complaint, Anhalt made arrangements to come to the victims home on December 21. When the victim opened the door, he told police two men wearing masks came running inside. One of the men was carrying a large sword, and the other was carrying a battle axe.

President Obama's repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy is already  damaging the U.S. military. An Army lieutenant colonel has asked to be relieved of command rather than order his troops to go through pro-homosexual indoctrination following the repeal of the policy, which required homosexuals to keep silent about their sexual preference. Currently the commander of a battalion-sized unit in the Army National Guard, the officer also has threatened to resign his commission rather than undergo "behavior modification" training intended to counter his religious convictions about homosexuality. 

Russia's Mil Design Bureau has briefed military delegations from Arab and other states on an advanced helicopter expected to begin production by 2015. They said the helicopter would feature capabilities for stealth and the downing of fighter-jets. "We are working on the concept of the fifth-generation combat helicopter," Mil chief executive officer Andrei Shibitov said.
