A man returned to his New Jersey home Monday night to find both his wife and her lover dead in the garage, after the pair apparently died of carbon monoxide poisoning while having sex, law enforcement sources tell NBC 4 New York. The 39-year-old woman and her 56-year-old lover — who sources believe was her mechanic — were discovered just before 9 p.m. Monday at a house in Newark. Sources say the wife and the mechanic were having sex in a car in the garage when they were both killed by the poison gas. The husband came home later to...

ARNOLD, Pa. - Several weeks after she first came under fire for a social media posting, Arnold Mayor Karen Peconi is pushing back against those who would have her removed from office. The post in question was referred to protesters demanding action after Antwon Rose was shot and killed by an East Pittsburgh police officer. “They don’t care about jobs for Pgh.. none of them work now," she said. Peconi issued an apology for the comments, but that wasn't enough for many residents. Tuesday night, the Arnold City Council voted to send a letter to Gov. Tom Wolf requesting he...

FarmerDean, who has no physical right to be alive according to natural law, will be going home under GOD’S law in a few weeks. After over a YEAR fighting for his life from a botched cancer surgery of his intestines and MANY MANY nights where I thought he was going to God, the farmer/man/beast is going home and will once again one day heap 50 pound bails on a truck for hours at 66!! I just got a hernia thinking about it!!! :) God doesn’t always give us what we ask for and we can’t and aren’t supposed to understand...

First Lady Melania Trump arrived in windy Melsbroek, Belgium, alongside President Trump for their week-long international trip, wearing a classic trench coat and black stilettos. Mrs. Trump channeled Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s as she stepped off Air Force One in a Burberry trench coat and slick black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Those on the left who are angry about anything and everything related to President Donald Trump have, in some instances, published contact information for administration officials and urged their peers to call and harass those with ties to the White House. This form of tantrum throwing has been largely criticized by most people who still value decorum in pubic debate. But in Alabama, there’s a new twist on the dialing-direct method of airing grievances. Alabama Sec. of State John Merrill is fed up with claims by opponents of the state’s voter ID law that tens of thousands of Alabama citizens...

Official government incident reports obtained by Judicial Watch after three years of delay provide a clearer profile of the “unaccompanied alien children” who flooded the U.S. border during the Obama administration and continue to arrive, documenting that among them were admitted murderers, rapists, drug smugglers, prostitutes and human traffickers.

Early one Saturday morning in March 2015, the hospital got a call from a hospital in Maine. Doctors there wanted to transfer to Boston Children’s a newborn baby boy whose heart had been deprived of oxygen during surgery to fix a congenital defect. (Snip)He injected 1 billion mitochondria, in about a quarter of a teaspoon of fluid. Within two days, the baby had a normal heart, strong and beating quickly. “It was amazing,” Emani said.

The operation comes less than a week after the agency released a new report about the huge amount of debris in space. That report found a total of almost 20,000 pieces of space junk in orbit as of the end of 2017 — more than 8,000 lbs. (3,628 kilograms) of dead spacecraft and their remnants. On Monday (July 9), ESA controllers nudged CryoSat 2, which studies glaciers, higher up into Earth's atmosphere after scientists calculated that the satellite had more than a 1 in 10,000 probability of crashing into the piece of space junk, which the agency hasn't publicly identified...

Cody Wilson’s Defense Distributed and Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) reached a settlement with the Department of Justice allowing unfettered publication of 3D gun files and other information in a case centered on free speech. Breitbart News reported that SAF filed a suit on behalf of Defense Distributed on May 6, 2015, seeking to free Wilson from a federal mandate that he not post blueprints for The Liberator pistol online. Over three years later, the announcement comes that Wilson and SAF won.

PayPal wrote to a woman who had died of cancer saying her death had breached its rules and that it might take legal action as a consequence. The firm has since acknowledged that the letter was "insensitive", apologised to her widower, and begun an inquiry into how it came to be sent. -snip He has now received a letter addressed in her name, sent to his home in Bucklebury, West Berkshire. It was headlined: "Important: You should read this notice carefully." It said that Mrs Durdle owed the company about £3,200 and went on to say: "You are in breach...

Former Sen. Rick Santorum is less than dazzled by President Donald Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. "I think that Donald Trump said he was going to energize the base with this pick. I don't think he did that," Santorum, a Pennsylvania Republican and a 2012 candidate for president, told CNN's Chris Cuomo.
  • Was the Trump Nomination of Kavanaugh A Call To the Bullpen Move?

I read in another post with the same idea but can’t seem to find it. The thought process was that Trumps nomination of Kavanaugh was a chess move. I liken it to a baseball manager making a call to the bullpen to get the other teams manager to also make a move with a batter. So, is Kavanaugh a decoy? Trumps knows what will happen with the Senate and will let it play out and then nominate who he really wants? Just wondering what other Freepes think.
  • I Was Wrong About Trump

I was wrong about Trump. I was solidly against him when he was running - knowing that he spent most of his life as a Democrat. I was at the point that I would have almost rather have had a Democrat in office that claimed to be a Democrat than another RINO claiming to be a Republican while ruining the country (not enough to vote for Hillary, or not vote btw). Trump has happily proved me wrong and I am now solidly behind him and happier than I have been, ever, with my president. Hopefully this SC pick proves to...

President Trump suggested Monday that China could be "exerting negative pressure" on North Korea to stray from the denuclearization "deal" signed last month, amid trade tensions between the U.S. and Beijing. The president expressed confidence that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un will "honor" the informal deal, despite tense talks with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo over the weekend. "I have confidence that Kim Jong Un will honor the contract we signed &, even more importantly, our handshake. We agreed to the denuclearization of North Korea," Trump tweeted. "China, on the other hand, may be exerting negative pressure on a...

I apologize for what may be an odd question; I hope someone remembers posting about this. At some point over the past year or so, someone posted about a 'spooky story' that was available on one of the Old Time Radio websites/radio stations. I think I may have read about it here around last Hallowe'en, or at some point in the year before. All I remember about the story is that it involved men working on a metal structure - an oil rig, or a radio tower - something like that. I saved a link to it, but never listened...
  • BHA Adds Result Verification Procedure (UK Photo Finish Result Overturned)

    07/09/2018 3:21:25 PM PDT · by ml/nj · 8 replies
The British Horseracing Authority has instituted an additional results verification procedure after a wrong result was posted at Kempton in March. In that instance, an official result was later reversed after a photo finish was more closely examined and the result found to be incorrect. The process, which has been trialled extensively since March, means that an additional line of verification is now in place before the ‘weighed in’ signal is given, whereby the stipendiary stewards on duty are required to verify the finishing order of the winning and placed horses. Should there be a query, a signal is given...

UPDATE (5:20pm ET) - Several signs are pointing to Kavanaugh. Either it's him, or this is an extraordinary bit of misdirection. The breadcrumbs from my source are related to members of Team Kavanaugh abruptly leaving law firms this afternoon. The source says he's been told "from the inside" that Kavanaugh is the pick. The second tweet, however, could be even more telling: UPDATE (3:30pm ET) - Three sources tell me the president's pick will not be Raymond Kethledge. One of them also says Amy Barrett is likely out, but that's less solid. Taken together, these indications suggest that the Times'...
