Civil War mystery may be solved by modern technology. (PRWEB) June 28, 2005 -- One of the mysteries of American Civil War lore may have finally been solved. The famous rebel yell, long known to have an unnerving effect on Union soldiers in the American Civil War, has just been examined by the History Publishing Company. Using as its core base, the only known yell by a living Confederate soldier recorded early in the Twentieth Century, History Publishing Company, through the use of sound technology, has emulated the sound of a company of soldiers charging a Union line. “The effect...

PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was so ill in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl that a teammate had to call a play in the huddle, center Hank Fraley said. "He fought to the end," Fraley told Comcast SportsNet on Monday. "He gave it his all. He was almost puking in the huddle. One play had to be called by (wideout) Freddie Mitchell because Donovan was mumbling because he was almost puking." Offensive lineman Jon Runyan also echoed Fraley's comments in the same interview aired on two local radio stations on Tuesday after the Comcast report. McNabb...

I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm not a Jets fan or Chargers fan. But I am absolutely digusted with the bul%^&* officiating in that game. The Jets WON THAT GAME! For those officials to change the outcome of that game on that bull&%@# call on 4th down is disgracefull! They are worthy of being lynched - and I don't mean John Lynch. That arm to the head happened no doubt, but as to the intent - it is far to subjective. They both were falling and it COULD have been an accident. The Chargers did not deserve to win this game,...

President Bush demonstrated a steady command of every issue last night. All I see on Fox is a simple quote about being steady in the war on terror. But they keep playing Kerry's laundry lists of complaints. And everyone is manufacturing discussion of how Bush "jumped" up to answer questions, etc., even though the President behaved as a gentleman and statesman.Bush made numerous points against Kerry's record and proposed plans. I am not seeing those either. It's as if Bush had no memorable lines, and he had many. And they are not touching Kerry's pathetic statement that Sadamm would "not...

I think FOXNEWS is pandering to the left more and more. It's no longer what it was when it originally started and they were advertising on Rush's show. I think that all they have left is Sean Hannity and the rest of them are just lib lap-dogs. I wish they would have just stuck with what was RIGHT. PS: I posted this in another blog on this site by accident so forgive me.

Imagine that America had a Chief Justice of the United States who actually believed in enforcing the Constitution and, accordingly, issued an opinion that the war in Iraq was unconstitutional because Congress did not fulfill its constitutional duty in declaring war. Imagine also that the neocon media, think tanks, magazines, radio talk shows, and television talking heads then waged a vicious, months-long smear campaign against the chief justice, insinuating that he was guilty of treason and should face the punishment for it. Imagine that he is so demonized that President Bush is emboldened to issue an arrest warrant for the...

To: National Desk, Political Reporter Contact: Chad Clanton or Phil Singer, _________, both of Kerry-Edwards 2004 WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 /U.S. Newswire/ -- In response to today's outrageous attacks on John Kerry's service by Karl Rove, former Georgia Senator Max Cleland and former Nebraska Senator Bob Kerrey made the following statements Senator Max Cleland: "Karl Rove was behind it all, it's part of his smear campaign to tarnish to tarnish the records and service of Vietnam Veterans, and now he's doing it again. I find it interesting that three different people have had to resign from basically the Bush Campaign and...

The greatest battle ever fought on the North American continent and the historical aftermath of this titanic contest have been lost forever in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. On the same grounds where Robert E. Lee, John Buford and John Reynolds fought for principles they held dear to them, Gettysburg College has decided that political correctness is more important than it’s historical identity. The Sons of Confederate Veterans hereby alert all of our members and friends to attend the rally to be held on September 2 and September 3 at Gettysburg College to protest the College sponsored art exhibit featuring the hateful anti-Southern...
